Default Hi! I'm new w/ a specific Question!

    Hello Everyone!

My name is Chloe. This is such a fabulous site (thanks!). I'm 19yo and finally going into my club of choice to inquire a job next week...I've got the newbie jitters like most.

My biggest question is concerning C-section scars (I only saw 2 posts related to the subject). I have a solid gym routine to assist w/ my baby weight, but I blew up the last 2wks of my pregnancy causing stretch marks down the front of my stomach. Not only that, but if my doctor hadn't misjudged my due date, I wouldn't have had them at all, nor the emergency C-section scar I was unfortunate enough to get. Luckily I had a good surgeon...but the scar is still pretty vivid (hence only having my baby 8mon ago).

I've been reading about this dermablend cream, along w/ the Sally Hansen spray tanners. My skin does well with spray tans & concealing...i'm more worried about what it will all look like under the lights.

While I had a rockin' Pre-Babe body and even now have good self esteem & confidence feeling naked w/ myself- I'm mortified to be shot down about my post baby marks @ an audition, or, judged harshly by customers. I understand taking comments, etc. with a grain of salt...but I think being new enstills the fear that 'everyone is looking & judging me the same'.

...I dont know. This stigma is just so weird to me to be having- I do nude modeling, make model appearances in scantly clad clothing, and do work as a bikini barista. I feel comfortable w/ that but the idea of an audience i making me nervous.
I guess what I'm asking is: Is there anyone here that has advice, stories, or tips about how to work w/ a new heavy duty scar such as a C-section &/or stretch marks?

    Thanks for any help!
    xo Chloe

Just keep your head up and smile on your face dear. If it isn't that the crowd will judge you on it will be something else. Just cover it the way you feel most comfortable and stay confident. You will do great.

    And welcome

I have severe stretch marks from my first pregnancy. I know they must be visible even with spray tan and/or whatever else. Dermablend works wonders but it's expensive and I haven't gotten another tube in forever, so I've been dancing stretch marks and all. I've never had one complaint about it. I KNOW they are visible. I've seen other dancers stare at them lol. Trust me, mine are BAD too. Granted, I'm not working at an upscale club, but I was terrified at first. One guy did say something about some stretch marks on my boobs, but he just said, "I know you have a kid because of these," and pointed to them, but he wasn't trying to be rude (even tho it was rude lol guys are so stupid) and even though he pointed out some of my marks, he also gave me plenty of compliments. So even though they are noticeable, I know that my beauty and personality outshine the stretch marks and scars. (And only one guy mentioning them in 9 months of dancing is pretty good) If you really just want to cover them up though, look up Dermablend. Really good stuff.
