It varies by dancer, by club, by city, by country. There is no way to tell you what a dancer makes or what is a "Good" night for a dancer in general. It varies widely!

Holy shit! $2000!!! I've been dancing for years and have never broke $1000!! Where I work, it ranges from -110 to +300/night, and $500 on a totally awesome bestest day.

^^^ also, there are clubs in some cities that don't rely so heavily on the 'percentage' business model where the club collects 25-33-50% of customer money spent on private dances, champagne rooms etc. These clubs allow dancers to (essentially) keep 100% of the customer's money, but make up for it by charging the dancers very substantial house fees in order to work.

For example a NYC club might charge dancers $200-$250 'up front' before being allowed to work their shift. This works out great if the dancer is a real hustler and can take in $1000 in customer money that shift. But if a dancer is having trouble making sales to customers she could conceivably take in far less customer money that shift than the $200-$250 which the club charged her to work in the first place.

Needless to say, clubs allowing dancers to keep 100% of customer money appeals to top shelf dancers, while being charged $200-$250 a shift in house fees quickly drives away mediocre dancers and/or 'slow learners'.
