    Dizzy T3 prescribed drug for underactive thyroid

    hi girls, just a quick one,
    has anyone ever used T3's for weight loss?
    they are prescribed if u have an underactive thyroid, just wondered if anyone had tried them?

    If you do not have a thyroid condition do not take them. Just do more exercise and eat better. You shouldn't rely on drugs to help you lose weight. Bad idea.

    You can't be serious. That is very, very dangerous. You are taking hormones! Exercise more, drink more water, adopt a healthier diet.

    Taking thyroid hormones when you have a normally functioning thyroid would like to HYPERthyroidism, which comes with it's own set of unpleasant symptoms.

    There's a huge list of them, but they include things like an inability to regulate your body temperature, heart palpitations, muscle weakening, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, hair loss, loss of elasticity in your skin, weakening of your nails...

    All of the above, not to mention, that you shouldn't be taking anything that you don't have to so soon after a surgery.
