    Mind Blowing Starting a website

Has anyone had any experience with starting up a website? Not one related to the industry, although your information would still be great.

I have to make a website as part of a project for my "comparing religions" class, it needs to have a few different pages and be able to have video and sound clips on it. I don't mind paying for the webspace although hopefully not too much, and after April I wont be needing it any more. I've never done anything like this before but now I'm gonna get a crappy grade if I don't master it

If anyone has ever done anything like this or has any ideas/tips, I would be so grateful!!

Hi! sorry this response is too late but I just saw this -well future reference:
Try yola.com for a free website that is super easy to build and looks like a website (not a blog)

Wow that seems like quite a challenge for a class not related to web design at all. Godaddy has good prices for hosting and all the tools you need to build a website. Its like 10 bucks for a year of hosting, i dont know if you can get one for just a few months.
