    Default The ballerina stripper?

I have searched the forums high and dry... and I can't find the damn video of the swan lake/ballerina stripper. Can anyone help me out?

You might be thinking of Pason. There's a few pole dancers that perform en pointe, but Pason is probably the most well known of all of them.

    Here's video of her http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoid=41850769

That girl would have potential to be far more successful if she got a nose job and cheek and chin implants. This is from a girl with the same problem so I don't judge, it would just help her greatly as a feature. I saw her show, which was awesome, but she's lacking the facial definition department.

I can't actually bring myself to watch it.
I almost feel like it's insulting to the person she claims to be influenced by: Elena Gibson; check out her pole/ballet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Rz-bByVwmw

    ^ wow, she's way better.

I'm not super impressed with Pason. She's a mediocre ballerina and a mediocre feature dancer. Her show was fun to watch but not amazing, but she's spread herself too thin between stripper and ballerina and doesn't do either with any mastery.

I'm trying to figure out how Pason dances in such broken down pointe shoes. The top ballet dancers don't let their shoes get that bad.

It was an okay feature. I've got to buy another pair of pointe shoes before I even think about doing a set like that. My Pittie ate my last pair. I noticed that I do a lot of the same stuff that she does (let me note I am a pretty good stripper) on the little bit of floorwork she did.

^ I noticed that, too! Her shoes were practically blackened.

I saw the blackening--probably dirty from the stage. I know when I used to do pointe my shoes would get dirty. I don't remember how to clean them now.

    I don't think Swan Lake is a stripper...shes a pole dance instructor.

...Anyways, I've seen way way better at my own club. Check out this girl I work with; shes amazing! In fact, she just found out shes one of the 12 finalists to compete in the US Pole Dancing Federation Championships in NYC this March!

Wow! She is really graceful while executing moves that require tons of strength. It seems like you get either one or the other from big deal pole dancers - they're either strong and graceless, or graceful and weak.

I've never seen Pason perform personally so I can't comment on her shoes. I will say though, having danced ballet for many years, that although a new pair of pointe shoes is always tempting the thought of having to break them in isn't always so great. You never know what the facts are either. For me I always had to special order my pointe shoes for various reason including needing a heavier shank, which cost me more money.

But she's a feature dancer up there with nasty looking shoes! Literally nasty black stains on pink shoes.

That doesn't void my information... feature dancer or not.

Wasn't Pason on this site at one point? It seems like I remember her posting.

My suggestion is that if it's really bothersome to all of you... just ask her what is up with it. Find a good way to frame it so it doesn't come off condescending. Asking her could be a way of telling her that other people notice that even if she thinks they don't, and she may start getting new shoes more often. It could be that she has a valid reason, but you won't know until you ask.

    Oh Ok. I know.
When you see her in competition, she does well because she has ALL the elements that the judges are looking for. Other dancers may have better tricks or dancing, but CJ is so strong and does EVERYTHING *well*.
She's so muscley now, she's had to stop dancing in clubs, as guys weren't buying dances cos they thought she was a dude!
