Default My FAV stripper shoe company

I'm doing a shameless promotion of my favorite shoe brand because of how much I love them right now. I have gone through FIVE fucking pairs of Ellie and Pleaser shoes in the past 6 months that all come apart at the foot binding, either with the straps ripping out from under the foot part or the whole goddamn foot part snapping off the heel!! Now, I'll admit I'm a hard dancer, I work very often and put a lot of stress on the shoes. But most of these shoes break within the first 2 months--that's just ridiculous.

BUT my first ever pair of stripper shoes I bought online from an ebay store called Sensual Steps, which lasted 3 months each (I got 2 pairs) and I think the reason they didn't last longer was because I got clear uppers that ripped. Nothing came out from under the foot binding and nothing just snapped off because it wasn't secured correctly. The best part? With shipping, each pair was under $40. (The only bad part is that their ebay store is very hard to navigate since you have to scroll through every model and size they have, and they're not in any particular order.)

So I thought, why aren't I buying from them again? And I just ordered a pair of black cut-out style with nylon uppers. Let's see how long these last.

A note to anyone using google: there's a Sensual Steps website out there that sells heels for weddings, proms, etc. That's not the right store.

my dear, i recommend either shoe goo or a trip to the cobbler. my dancer shoes have lasted me 3 years- and i wear the same pair all the time.

I've glued, duct-taped, everything imaginable. I've seen girls with shoes last as long as 5 years but those girls don't dance the way I do. I lunge, stomp, do pole falls, etc on stage and put most stress on them in lapdances just to get into certain positions.

I might consider a cobbler, but that wouldn't cost much less around here. $25 for the replacement, and I'd have to get there and back--I don't have a car.

Thanks, missM, they have some really cool designs. I guess I might try them out in 3 months.

    Alrighty then.
Just bought a pair of boots from them.
I LOVE boots, and I needed a white pair. And they were only 34$ after shipping and handling.
Hope your right and they last me, and are decently comfortable.
Let you know when I get them this week.
    Thanks for the hint!
