Sad Work after my brother's sudden & unexpected death.

I've had to take a 2 week leave of absence. Can anyone give me tips on how to just put this aside & be sexy in a way I can still get dances? It's been so painfully slow & dead that the last few weeks I've worked, I've beenw orking for free. I haven't been making ANY money...now with my brother's sudden death, I've been in an even worse mental spot. It's been so difficult. I'm not ready to go backt o work, but I HAVE to. I have bills to pay. Can anyone offer any kind of support or words of wisdom to help me get through going back to work?

Not my brother, but my best friend died in Dec. Accidental suicide. I won't go into details. It was brutal; still is. But I know he wouldn't want me to be sad, and all I can do is my best, one day at a time.

If you need support or even just someone to talk to, even if they are a stranger, don't hesitate to PM me.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry! I had a few close friends pass away last year and I was a mess for awhile.

Mediocrity is right, he wouldn't want to see you miserable or having trouble because of him.

I know that living without him isn't what you want. For me personally the only thing that soothes me in situations like this is knowing that you will see him again... maybe not tomorrow - but someday.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

firstly sorry for your loss, i started dancing just after a relative of mine had died and in my day job i come into all sorts of depressing situations and encounter deaths every week usualy, but it only makes me want to have a better time dancing as it should be a fun job with monney in it, i'll still think about those people randomly at work in a they were fine tuesday and then they were gone friday way- i've got to get on with my life and get some money for -----.
I hope you can learn to use your brothers death to look at life as valuable as it is and everytime you think of someone you've lost do something for yourself. x

Thanks you guys. That really means a lot. I definitely know how precious life is. How not to take any day, moment, or person for granted...because we're really never promised tomorrow. I never really knew what they meant until now.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I think the other girls have given good advice so far. Make sure though that you listen to your body and don't try to push yourself beyond your emotional limits. Utilize your family, friends, and this site for support too!
