    Default waxing???

this is probably a really stupid question, but i was wondering if you guys get regular waxes, or just shave really really well. i guess i should mention the area i live in is topless clubs only, but a g-string still shows off a lot. i have verrry sensitive skin, and any kind of waxing always gives me a rash for a few days, so i was just wondering if it's common to just shave so i could avoid the irritation.

Shave and then use some deoderent on your cookie it will stop it form getting the rash and then you will only have to shave like every three days

I love waxing, but the problem is that you have to wait for hair to regrow before you can wax. And stubble regrowth is a big no-no I suppose, so shaving it is. Use new blades, shave in the direction of growth, not against, and you'll be fine.

If I shave more than once a week I get really bad razor burn and bleed like hell. Going with the grain doesn't get close enough. I also grow hair back really quickly. And smooth away/ smooooth legs only irritates it. Anyone know if Nair works? My vulva area isn't as bad to shave regularly, so I would only be using it on the mound. Any advice on maintaining a good shave?

oh god. i would never even think about putting nair on my vag, it's such nasty chemicals and it smells so awful. especially if there's any open irritated pores or anything. i consider this to be a horrible idea, but i've never tried it. maybe someone who has can elaborate or tell you that it'll actually be fine.

i used to get pretty bad razor burn, and what i did to fix it at first was put neosporin on the area immediately after shaving. after a few weeks, it didn't bother me nearly as much, and i switched to deodorant, but i still occasionally use the neosporin.

Antiperspirant is just as bad as hair removal cream. Aluminum...

anti perspirant doesn't smell like a nuclear skunk, is not capable of melting hair, and doesn't burn if you leave it on too long. while aluminum isn't exactly good for you, it's not going to cause chemical burn if you accidentally get some of it too close to your actual vagina.

Isn't an epilator like an electric razor, only it pulls the hairs out like waxing?
I have been curious about trying one of these, I am sure it hurts but you do not have to wait for hair to grow back as long as u do with waxing. Does it keep legs smooth for a while? What kind do you use?

i use braun epilator, you dont have to wait as long as waxing i find, you can keep ontop of your diff hair cycles, just pluck out the really short ones, i go on sun beds so mine tend to grow after a week, but when i dint go for a while it lasted 2-3weeks, your hair becomes finer and lighter in colour and easier to get rid of, just rem not to quick fix with shavin or you'll be back to square one. im really dark haired and my hair was very thick so if it works for me i guess it can work for anyone, even my mums started epilating after she saw my legs lol you gotta keep exfoliating to prevent ingrowns, if you get too many ingrowns your legs or bikini area jus looks nasty so exfoliate reg, i just use them cool gloves , my skins in alot better condition than waxing or shaving.

i used a hair removing creme on my vag, alot less pain, but it dint really work well, still had plenty hair left and it seemed to leave black roots under my skin which looked dodgy and took abit to get out, i wouldnt recomend it, but i guess it might depend what brand you use.

I get really, really bad razor burn. Somebody introduced me to Tend Skin. You can get it at salons. This stuff is god send. I noticed great results after first application. I also exfloiate the cooch with Neutrogena body and a wash cloth it helps minimize the ingrown hairs.

can you actually epilate all the way down there, like the equivalent of a Brazilian wax? How painful is that? Or are you only supposed to use it for trimming the outer bikini area?

i go as far in as i can stand it, stretch the skin real tight or it will pinch you and more likly damage you, i pluck the middle bit, hurts but i dont get lumps of out like shavin and its not itchy when it grows back. i also do the top bit like the ummmm, i dunno how to explain, the cusiony bit lol or the mound/hill bit haha im so dumbass sometimes lol, the front what ppl see when you stand up, there ya go got it lol. i jus do the bits i feel safe doin without hurtin myself lol, well obv it hurts but i mean without doin sum real harm lol its not as painfull as i used to find it, omg it wrecked at first lol but i have a really low pain threshold, i would reccomend a few hollywood waxes first to get used to ur hair bein ripped out.

So I have a very sensitive vagina...
How do you deal with that?
I can only shave at most once a week...
And even then I cant shave the top...
    It hurts...
    I trim...
    Is that good enough?
