Default So how does this work?

Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but I plan on stripping within the next month or two and I've already started to compile a list of music to make a CD for it. Is that what you do, make your own CD to give to the DJ? Does she/he only play the songs when you dance or for everyone? Do all clubs even accept CDs? Is it usually recommended to make one or just an option? Do most of you do it?

Sorry if these are completely ridiculous questions. Anyway, here's my playlist so far incase anyone is interested. I hope it's not totally cliche or cheesy:

    Cream by Prince
    White Rabbit by Collide
    Bad Girl by Danity Kane
    Foxy Lady by Jimi Hendrix
    Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson
    She Rides by Danzig
Slave for You by Britney Spears
All Would Envy by Chris Botti & Shawn Colvin
    Buttons by The Pussycat Dolls
Leave your Hat on by Joe Cocker
    Prom Queen by Lil Wayne
    Kiss by Prince
Je T'aime, Moi Non Plus by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot
    Sex (I'm A) by Lovage
    Hey Mister by Custom
    Criminal by Fiona Apple
    So Hot by Kid Rock
    Stripped by Shiny Toy Guns

that is a great idea. but be sure that you have a list of the songs so your dj knows what he is playing so he does not get in trouble with the club. but for the most part it should be ok but ask your dj before and make sure they are ok with it. so have fun and good luck

I just bring in my Ipod and tell the DJ to play any thing off the play list "work". Of course I have a great working relationship with my DJ and I trust him not to lose, break, or steal it
When it comes down to it, I'll let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm already better then them.

Depends on the club, some do cds, some use their own ipod or computer, some use jukebox. Just ask them.
Sounds like a good list to start with. Once you get dancing you will find what works for you and works for the crowd. I started dancing to mostly R&B, but over the past 5 years, I have danced to pretty much everything.
