Default how do you deal with disresectful customers??

ok, Im only a waitress.. I have had some guys be very gross, and I have had some real nice guys.. some guys the other day said they would give me 40$ to do a dance on a table( Its a topless bar) so I said ya ok I will.. then he was like you have to be nude.. I was like HAHA NO.. and he just kept on being really gross and I was trying to sell some shots to these guys and they were just being gross asking me if I shave and it was really pissing me off.. Im a very pssive person.. and I hate that.. I try to let things go.. but sometimes I want to say something.. I dont know what to do.. I dont want to waste th managers time with petty things like that because he also runs the bar..

You can still be nice, just make your prices crazy expensive. When the guys start bugging you for a nude dance tell them that would be $500 or you'd be happy to find him one of the house girls to dance for $20 (or whatever the regular rate is). If he keeps bugging you, just keep saying the price then try to sell a shot then tell him the price of the dance again (ie; A nude dance with me is $500. Or you can get a shooter for $5. But my absolute minimum dance price is $500)

Each situation is different so you have to use your judgement in how to guage your response. ....

    1) Keep smiling. Some people make comments for the express purpose of trying to upset you. If you keep smiling you don't give them the satisfaction of knowing they got to you. Try your best to simply ignore them. Again, some guys are just trying to get a reaction out of you so if you don't do anything they give up. Do your best to remind yourself that you're not the problem, they are. Try your best not to take what they say too personally.

    2) Other times you may want to have some sassy comeback lines at your disposal. You can get away with being pretty insulting as long as you know how to deliver the verbal jabs. Having witty lines that turning things around or show pitty for them are sometimes good ways to difuse the behavior.

    3) I don't know about your work environment or your boss's mentality, so you have to be careful not to take things too far. However, if you're in the right situation where you know you won't get into too much trouble you could do something like "accidently" spill something on them.

    4) If things get too hard for you to handle, but still not to the point where you want to contact a manager, see if you can get another waitress to switch with you. Develop a buddy system, as you may need to return the favor for her sometimes as well.
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.

FTR, she works at a topless bar, so no one could do a nude dance. These guys were just being difficult and pervy to be jerks.

If guys ask you really crappy questions, you could always say "The answer to that question costs $x" with a wink.

Here's what you do....you're a waitress not a dancer....if you want to dance then that's another bit of advice....anyway, it is not uncommon in the corporate world to tell someone to fuck off....so that is what I would recommend.
