    Default only in burlesque-ville . . .

hi guys my name is MK or I go by vanity or peach.

I'm not particularly a pole dancer yet! ( although I can't wait) but my main interest right now is burlesque dancing.

I love the glamour and the fetishism associated by it and I am inspired by vintage strippers and outrageous sex pots like may west and temptest storm.

I'm looking foward to making routines and dancing since I'm a bit of an exhibitionist.
So Im really looking foward to peeling my clothes off under dim lighting.

I'm also looking into electrolysis. Permant hair removal. I wax frequently and it's getting soooo expensive so I would love to know your gals thoughts on that!

I pretty sure when and if I get this together I'm going to have a pretty unique look so I'm interested to hear your advice from fashion to right high heels to wear your first time (ellie's grls?)

I also want to know about hustling techniques and tips to snag regulars. Also how do you prevent bunions on our feet I mean yeesh the footwear can kill a lady.

I can also say I'm proud to be involved in this community!

Any health tips food or fitness unload on me!

In other words girls let loose some wisdom. I'm really excited to begin this journey and I'm so glad to find this community and build and learn from you !

    Later love.

Wow...haha! Welcome! But every single topic you put into this post can be found elsewhere on the site. Do advanced searches (and isolate your searches to certain forums. If you search for hair removal, isolate it to the Body Business thread) for what you're interested in.

We have an entire forum dedicated to hustling techniques-- Hustle Hut. Read the stickies (the threads at the top of each forum) to get general information that will likely answer your questions. Good luck! Take some time to get a feel for this board--we discuss everything here! And don't be shy: feel free to post your own wisdom!

Welcome to SW! This site is geared more towards club dancers, but many of us cross over to burlesque as well. You may also want to sign up for the forums at the Ministry of Burlesque. As for the hair removal, do some searches and you will find plenty of info here, especially in the Body Business section.

thanks ladies. But I'm also interested in club dancing as well. I like to consider myself a jack of all trades. I've had formal dance training:
Mainly classical and advanced ballet so I am very flexible and fluid
    In my movements

    And also non traditional dancing:
    Bollywood.
    Bollywood.
    Bollywood.

(watch nimbooda on youtub online if your confused)

I've always regarded pole dancing as an artform and I'm really excited to take it on. Given I will be taking lessons this summer.
My goal is to get to advanced classes with in three years and then train at bobbi's pole dance studio in Sydney Australia and be trained under FELIX one of the greatest pole dancers of ALL time

(google miss pole dance australia to watch felix move like liquid on the pole via YouTube)

I like to incorperate burlesque with bollywood and club dancing.

Are you sure you're actually interested in stripping as a job? Stripping is verrry different from pole dancing. Pole dancers (in my experience) get paid very little in clubs (despite how pretty it looks), whereas the hustlers are the ones who make money.

^^^ I've said that a time or two!

She did ask about hustling though, so it sounds like she's interested in the clubs.

Ohhh, Felix - she is so graceful!

If your advanced in ballet, you should dry doing a routine en pointe...there are actually quite a few pole dancers that do that...and it really stands out/looks super awesome
