Nope. Honestly, I wouldn't want to wear something that cost me that much to work. Too likely to get totally ruined.

It's way too easy to find knock-off brands for $20 that look exactly like those, and way too easy to destroy those while working (by simply hitting the pole too hard, or the floor, or anything), to justify wearing those to work. The guys wouldn't know what they were, and the girls probably wouldn't either. You'd have to be insane to do that!!

same here! Also, I suspect my Pleasers are way more comfortable.

But it is funny how stripper-y civilian shoes are these days.

^ I've noticed that too! Tons of designers are adding platforms to their shoes...I'm like "Damn, I could totally wear those to work!"

haha I know! there are videos all over the web of models falling down during fashion week and articles about how the shoes that designers created for this season are ridiculously high, and I'm like "psh. wimps."

but yes, I agree. I wouldn't wear shoes that nice. but I WOULD buy them! I lurve louboutins!

lol thanks ladies for your responses

i actually don't even own a pair myself (though thinking of buying one soon), i just wanted to know what u guys think....
i was thinking maybe wearing something that elegant and luxurious would give u a new air of confidence, but who knows, i haven't done it myself, maybe i'm wrong

Lol. I would NEVER... Too expensive for work and yes, they would be ruined. I go through my stripper shoes in about three months before I need to replace them, that would be an expensive habit!

I've always wondered if he makes the sole red so the stilettos on the red carpet look extra skinny........

this is kinda off topic, but did you guys see the episode of top model when the girls had to wear the 8.5" pleaser heels and they kept falling on their asses? Thank god we're more graceful than that, most the times anyways.

sorry, but i'd wear Cristian Louboutains at home, and I'll stick with stripper shoes for work. Helps me get in the mood more. Although, I find the shoes ridiculously hot, not gonna lie.

i would work in them if
    (a) i could afford them in the first place
    (b) i worked in a high end club, where they'd actually be recognized

    otherwise, no. of course not.

    yes.

as i recall, a couple of the girls could walk in them. i remember one girl walked really well and afterward, the camera cut to the judges looking at each other with knowing grins. i had a hearty laugh.

OMG, I was just in San Francisco for a week and they had a display of those up at Barney's, and I was going back every day just to look at them and drool over them. Didn't have enough $$$, but those are my favorite designer shoes, period. I don't like a lot of shit on my shoes, buckles and beads and flowers and stuff. I like streamlined, solid colors, and stiletto heels. I am totally saving up and buying several pairs of those in various colors, and then I will never need another pair of dress shoes.

i was just thinking of saving up for a pair too, i love them one thing i dont understand is how 6 inch heels are in style and women wear them, they even have expensive clear heels and platforms, however women still talk shit about strippers. you dress like one, you act like one, well how are you going to still talk shit because we all know every one of those women would pay to know how to get a mans attnetion like a dancer does. sorry rant

^ but they don't act like strippers.

usually, the women talking the most shit are giving up sex for nothing, while we sell lapdances (and not sex) for money.

these are the shoes i wear at work. i'm 5'7 so i feel like i don't need the extra platform and those compliment my feet and make me feel sexy.
they were only $110 so i don't mind them getting trashed although i've been wearing them for a few months and they're still fine for now.
i do know a girl that used to wear louboutin's at work though. we all thought she was crazy, haven't seen her around in a bit though so maybe she was

I love your shoes - I am just starting out and have at least 4 pairs like that. Good to know those are comfortable. I used to be an EA, so I am used to wearing them for a min 10 hours daily.

    ROFL about the coworker...
