I don't know about california but you don't need a license to work in florida, unless you are looking to work at a club in west palm beach county, there they do require a license.
Hello,
I live in Socal and I know in San Diego you need a license. I believe In San Bernardino county as well, but I do know that some clubs within the these counties have different jurisdictions and some clubs don't require a license.

San Fran clubs didn't require them.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

why do you want to go to either? there are probably areas/clubs that are decent to work in, but if i could move, i would. it's way too much stress for not enough money.
-love everyone but keep them far from your soul-

It doesn't seem like you have to have a license in Los Angeles County - San Fernando Valley.
I remember in Orange County (Orlando) there was something mentioned about an occupational license, but I never got one.
Good to know that one is required in San Bern and SD.
Thanks!

From what I remember of dancing in LA there were no license requirements. In Florida I know there are no licenses in Volushia (daytona), Hillsborough (tampa) or Brevard (cocoa beach).
Seattle on the other hand wanted me to shell out $210 for an Entertainer's License. I was like wtf 0.o?
