^^^ I rarely ever keep much cash on me. I always deposit my money in the bank so I don't take the chance of it being stolen. I hope that video encourages other dancers to put their money into places that are safe... especially before traveling! It's sad though that the government has gotten like this.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

The TSA is also known to pull aside attractive women for "further inspection" regardless of what they are carrying.

This is nothing new. This started with the asset forfeiture laws. I was a victim of it (as far as the profiling goes). The counter person profiled me, 2 DEA agents came out for further questioning. They seemed to get upset when I didn't answer their questions. Asking them 'What makes you think I am carrying drugs or drug money?' was funny, but the funniest of all was when I told them if they had probable cause they would have a warrant or if they had reasonable suspicion, I would not be asked anything. It also pissed them off when I told them I had to leave to catch my flight (arrest me or piss off).
A. You do NOT have to talk to them. You may and it's a VERY good idea to give out routine and relevant info- basic I.D. & where you're going.
B. NEVER let them take you somewhere unless they arrest you.
C. Don't be smart or sassy. Smile and try to be as polite as possible. Just insist they have two and ONLY two choices - arrest you or let you go. If they say they have a right to stop & question you just say: "That's true, but I don't have to say anything. And I'm not going to until I speak to my lawyer." They might say : "Why do you need a lawyer if you haven't done anything wrong ? " You respond- "To protect me from people like you."

A. I also deal with stuff like this at police roadblocks. If you give some information and withhold other, it could be seen as suspicious and it gives reasonable suspicion. Either say nothing, or say all.
B. AMEN!!!! The police also do not have a duty to tell you you are free to go.
C. I never thought about you response, lol. What I have used in response to that question (at a roadblock when they wanted to search my car) is "If you had probable cause you wouldn't be asking".
A. They are entitled to basic info such as your I.D. = name & address. They are also allowed to know where you are going. Period. Failure to give them basic I.D. info entitles them to hold you until they verify your identity. Don't be too cute.
C. Whenever police have "asked" to search my car, I tell them to get a warrant. When one "Nazi" started doing it anyway, I said: "See you in the Trial Room". That stopped him. Luckily, I also have some people I can call and whose names I can drop.

A. I'm not saying not to give them your i.d.. If you are stopped while in your car for any reason, yes, you must show DL, but you do not have to say anything, including destination. When I was 'stopped' at the airport, all I said was my ticket says I was going to X.
If you are stopped on the streets, you do not need to provide i.d.. This was upheld in '03-04 when a man was arrested for refusal to show DL when he was outside his vehicle when cops arrived for an argument he was having with his daughter.
C. Car searches are a funny thing. They have the right to see if anything is in plain view, but if you leave the door wide open, it could be seen as consent, as can giving cops permission to move your vehicle (you just gave them control over the vehicle).
IME, cops take name dropping as an insult. After trying it a few times (and knowing veteran cops), I only do it if I happen to meet a cop and am having a cordial conversation or if I am not the reason for the cops showing up. lol
When I was growing up, we had a cop live down the street from us. We always had problems with people using our street as a cut through and speeding. One day, one of those folks got into an altercation with my neighbor who yelled for him to slow down. When the cop arrived, I named dropped the cop neighbor, the cop smirked and said 'Sgt. Y has told us about the problem'.
