    Default unattractive = more money?

it would seem that unattractive customers would spend more money, seeing as its the closest they may get to a pretty girl and her attention. while a more attractive customer has better chances at getting attention from a pretty girl elsewhere, therefore not feeling the need to shell out lots of money. what do you think? do you actively seek out unattractive customers more so than the attractive ones?

It's not about how good you look, but about how good you feel about yourself. I've had some cute looking custies who were so messed up on the inside that they felt they couldn't live the fantasy that I create for them. That's why they shell out the big bucks.

This seems to be yet another variation on the "does she like me" theme.

My experience is from the other side of the fence, but I'd say that a dancer will pay a lot of attention to you if you are:

    (a) Respectful toward the dancer
    (b) Spending money on her

They're there to earn a living and how attractive/unattractive you are comes a long way second to how many dances you buy.

I'm going to categorize customers now. I'd say there are two types broad of customer:

    (a) Those who treat it as entertainment and who have no great expectations of OTC relationships
    (b) Those who have fantasies about dancers and do seek OTC relationships

I think it's the latter who keep asking the "does she like me" question because they seek some form of validation that the money they spend ITC will eventually translate as an OTC meeting. I don't think that sort of customer could keep spending thousands of dollars without some hope they'll eventually develop some sort of IRL relationship with a dancer.

Those who treat it as entertainment realize that it's exactly that: entertainment that will not translate into an OTC relationship. They don't need to keep asking the "does she like me" question because they have a different motivation for spending the money inside a SC.

And it's those who treat it as entertainment that seem to be best liked by dancers - as they don't have an ulterior motive for spending money on the dancer.

I had many ugly customers. I banked from them because most of the other dancers ignored them. Not me, I found that these guys tended to have more money and loved attention.

One persons ugly is another's attraction.

I still get the hots for the geeky guy that can sit with me and discuss cars or scientific theory. So who's to say what's cute and what's not?

I tend to hone in on customers based on how they hold themselves, or how they speak, not how they look.

A guy in a strip club's a guy in a strip club's a guy in a strip club. They're all looking for something we can provide. The question isn't necessarily how easily they're sold, but HOW they're sold. The ugly/fat guy wants the attention of the pretty girl and the feeling that they're wanted and not repulsing the girl.

An attractive man wants something different. Entertainment, yes, but not always sexiness. Often arrogant, this man will want to play mind games with the stripper--he wants to believe that the stripper is a stupid sex-doll. (I sold a table of these guys once because I was the only girl in the club who was willing to play into their stereotype.) It's one of the fantasies I provide.

A wealthy/educated man, ugly or attractive, will want someone he can have a conversation with. IRL, everyone is after his money so he'll appreciate someone who will relax with him and treat him as a person, instead of a wallet. Fast-hustle girls don't usually get this. Yes, I'm investing up to a half hour of free talk time. But it's the difference between a $20 LD and a $100 VIP with a $20-100 tip. (That's a lot of money in my club.)

As a side note, I don't think it was a does-she-like-me question. It's the same as us girls asking the guys if they're more likely to ask ugly girls for extras. The question is: do strippers stereotype customer spending based on appearance? Well, for me, no. I'm much more likely to judge on how well they tip my stage.

I think it also depends on the club you work in and the vibe - some places, nobody spends! and some places, it's always raining! (ok, maybe not always, but you know what I mean)
also, like Danielle_4370 said, personality and confidence has a lot to do with it. unfortunately, a lot of people possess confidence based on how they see themselves in the mirror. so, unattractive people tend to be less confident, and vise-versa

I tend to agree with the statement. I had a very obese reg, because I was one of the few girls who would talk to him. I also danced for a wheelchair-bound man (which doesn't make him unattractive, but other girls were ignoring him), and he wanted to come back and see me, but it was my last day there have been a few others, but, yes, go for the people who the other girls are ignoring! not only are they potential goldmines, but they tend to be very sweet, respectful, etc. at least imo.

wow sorry for the novel! hehe I am a lil buzzed and I always get chatty!

Seriously! It's fun to get the IT guys in and freak them out when they find out I do know what I'm talking about. They are just too cute.

As an unattractive customer, I can attest that I must spend much more money than the attractive customers you refer to. But beyond that, I find myself digging deep down inside to find a smidgen of charm to use as a tool to entice a dancer to even accept my contributions. Your observation is spot on. I hope strippers are less picky in the afterlife.

Can't believe I sparked another thread with my comment.

Heh, in my experience, yes, fat and ugly does equal a sale. First off, they want the attention as bad as any other guy, if not more. Second, a lot of dancers over look them. Maybe it's the challenge of dancing for someone without a lap, or the culturally ingrained fallacy that fat = slob = broke. I don't know. Third, I think I have an advantage with these types because I'm very good at empathizing with them (I was a fug-faced adolescent with a BMI of 38 that morphed at the age of 15 into a sex bomb. But I'll never forget what it was like on the other side of the fence . . . )

i assumed when i opened this that it would be about unattractive girls making more money. lol.

i haven't noticed that unattractive guys spend more. it seems about even. however, if the attractive man is wearing a golf shirt, it is wise to avoid him. (though that rule goes for unattractive men too.)

Men who play golf or are golf enthusiasts are notoriously cheap. The few times I have made substantial earnings was from pro-golfers. Not the weekend warriors and their buddies. Not to mention they are a serious PITA.

Perhaps, but I'm willing to wager that Jeff Goldblum or Hank Azaria nerdy goes a lot further than Steve Wozniak nerdy. Nerdiness & looks are not correlates.

As to golfers, I've heard the same thing from my faves. Theory -- golf buddies hit a club as much more of a "spur of the moment" thing after playing, and aren't usually prepared with money in hand or the mentality to spend. Maybe?

i'd go up to a steve wozniak type over the other type first anyday. seems like he'd be more easygoing and fun instead of neurotic and high maintenance. i never liked the nerds who were trying to impress the cool kids. end of the day, they just bitches who'll jerk you around, overthink everything, and fuck you over. and i'm not saying the other two aren't cute. they just seem like bitches.

i like the nerds who know they are nerds and embrace it. they're more simple and straightforward. they tend to spend more. and to be nice.

as for the golf thing...my theory is that they're perfectly prepared to spend money. they just like all the free attention they get from girls who think golf=money. plus, when men spend a lot of time with "the boys" they tend to revert to the elementary school idea that girls are the enemy.

What about a geek that emulates the Neanderthal slack jawed stare (I can't help my genetics...)?

    YES.

As for hockey players, I've had two experiences, and both of them were awful. I think you have to redeem hockey players for me, hockeybobby
