I'm not sure if it's the norm, but the chinese food place around me serves really thick hot and sour soup. I'm guessing it's so thick bc of the cornmeal in it? Besides the sodium, does anyone know if this soup is bad for you. Does it have more calories than most soups? It seems healthy, otherwise, considering that it has veggies and tofu.
Also, if anyone has the nutrition info for THICK egg drop soup and hot and sour soup, please let me know. When I look it up on calorieking, it says that hot and sour soup (1 cup) is only 100 calories. To me, this seems little considering that there is tofu, pork, and cornmeal in it. I'm sure there's some sugar, as well.
