I just started dancing for the first time ever on Thursday- got hired immediately and worked the whole night, from 5pm to 2am.
My legs didn't feel too bad that night... but the next morning they felt like they had been run over my a truckI had to go into my "dayjob" at 11AM that morning (I work in a fast-paced kitchen), and planned to bike home from work at 5pm, get dressed, and go back into the club and work 7PM to 2AM.
WELL... after my kitchen work I couldn't even bend my knees on the pedals to bike home, and called into the club and told them I couldn't work that nightThen I called my roommate for a ride home.
I didn't go into the club today either, cuz my legs are still in agony. I still can't bike, have trouble walking up and down stairs and sitting down, and just walking in general.
I tried bathing in epsom salts last night but it didnt do much good. I've been taking aspirin and stuff too.
Is it normal to not even be able to bend your knees for a couple days after your first night, and for your thighs to hurt to the touch? Is this something I should see the doctor about, or just scrape up some cash for some Icy-Hot or other topical cream? (I would only see a doctor as a last resort, as I have no health insurance and no money).
Any help would be appreciated!
