    Default 1 year plan

So I was wondering what everyone thought about my one year plan. I'm getting too old in my opinion at least to keep dancing. I'm thinking about dancing six days a week for one year. When I am finished I can get a regular job and depend on the money saved so I can finally get school finished.. What do you think? Do you think it's possible to work that much for an entire year or am I dreaming?

It's all about your personal abilities to take it, ya know? Personally, I can only work a maximum of 3 days a week (if I'm NOT in school) before I start to seriously burn out.

Not as a stripper, you can't. I know, I tried. Not even considering the physical toll this will take on your body, the emotional toll is too much to handle. I've gone 6 weeks (maybe it was 9, can't remember now) working 6 nights a week at no contact, low hustle clubs and I was seriously considering using drugs like meth or coke to get through at the end. I didn't use illegal drugs, but I was popping Hydroxycuts like they were candy because I was soooooo tired.

At the end of that run I was turning into an emotional basket case. I've always been mild tempered, but I was blowing up at customers, dancers and club staff over the most petty stuff. Or I'd start bawling my eyes out over nothing. Even though all I did was work, eat and sleep I was having a hard time sleeping more than a couple of hours at a time. I had a lot of nightmares and finally got a severe case of the flu that stopped me in my tracks. I spent the next 5 weeks sick in bed and even cracked a rib from a coughing bout.

After that I planned my schedule for 3 weeks on (6 days a week) and 2 weeks off. I was able to maintain that schedule for the next couple of years. On my 2 weeks off I'd occasionally do bachelor parties, but only 1 or 2 a week.

I thought I could work 6 days a week forever. Boy, was I wrong! There was another side effect that kicked in the longer I worked: my money gradually dropped, then took a nosedive at the end. I looked like shit, had a shitty attitude and was basically an unpleasant person to be around. Instead of wasting my time in the clubs I should have been resting and preparing to come back to work refreshed and ready to make bank.

ETA: Even professional athletes take proper breaks to insure peak performance. It is a well known fact in sports that too intense of training leads to injury and decreased performance. Stripping can be seen the same way.

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!
