    Default Some Random Newbie Questions

I'd like to start off by apologizing if I repeat any questions, but I searched a lot and did not find the answers, so here goes:

    1. Is it appropriate to dance in a bathing suit for amateur night? As a professional dancer?

    2. If so, would something like this be to awkward? http://shop.guess.com/GroupDetails.a...egory|46=WOMEN

(I would be dancing at a topless club, so I would think it might be weird to wear a g string underneath to be able to take the whole thing off, or to just have the top part dangling...)

    3. If you are wearing an outfit or swimsuit with strings is it inappropriate/illegal/typically against club policy to let a guy assist you in taking it off (having him pull a string to untie it)

    4. How many of you have participated in amateur night? did you think it was worth it, or would you recommend getting a regular audition?

    5. When is best to call the club to ask questions, during the day?

    6. What are typical hours to work? (I understand this may vary from club to club, but I will have to work around my husband's schedule, so I would like to be as prepared as possible before I talk to anyone about working)

    7. If you use body make up to help hide flaws do you purchase yours online or in a store? (I'm worried about purchasing online in case the color doesn't match my skin well enough)

    8. Is the body make up effective? (bruises, scars, stretch marks, etc). I have scars from a breast reduction and I want to hide them as best as I can.

Thank you in advance for all you help ladies!

yes. imo. just make sure it doesnt look to bathing suit like and make sure your club doesnt require a gown. as many people will say, go to the club first to see what the dancers usually wear. i wear them alot on the floor. string bikini type deals, but they look like they could have been made to dance in aswell. the coloring and material does not look like a typical bikini.

    2. If so, would something like this be to awkward? http://shop.guess.com/GroupDetails.a...egory|46=WOMEN - this link wont work for me
however check Snaz75 out, they have some bikini type things that look good.

we arent allowed to have the men take or clothes off. you will need to check the laws in your city. i personally wouldnt want a guy removing my clothing but i like to be in control of everything.

    4. How many of you have participated in amateur night? did you think it was worth it, or would you recommend getting a regular audition? i like amy night. i went to one in ky way before i started dancing and won some money. the ones around here are audience applause so i brought alot of male friends to cheer me on. i think its not a bad idea to do amy night, you get an idea of what the club expects, what dancers wear, all that good stuff. if i were you i wouldd go to the club a little early, get a dance, talk to some of the dancers, and tip them for their time.

    5. When is best to call the club to ask questions, during the day? i would say i have had the best luck mid afternoon to evening,

    6. What are typical hours to work? (I understand this may vary from club to club, but I will have to work around my husband's schedule, so I would like to be as prepared as possible before I talk to anyone about working) - some places are flexible. most clubs in my area are around 11am-7pm -and 7pm -2am. these hours vary and some clubs, if you let them know whats up they will try to help you out with hours. ifi have schedulig issues i aways tell them on ddays i am 100% free, they can call me if they need an extra girl.

    7. If you use body make up to help hide flaws do you purchase yours online or in a store? (I'm worried about purchasing online in case the color doesn't match my skin well enough) - dont use it. if you order it off line their may be a color chart you can use, or a number to call to get info on colors
    8. Is the body make up effective? (bruises, scars, stretch marks, etc). I have scars from a breast reduction and I want to hide them as best as I can. - i personally sweat so muchi wouldnt bother. i have stretch marks on the insides of my upper thighs. its dark in the club, no one can see that stuff usually. honestly few men even care about that, your naked, they arent looking at stretch marks most likely.

i got the link to work - tons of girls wear those typs of things at my club. i think they seem like a pain in the ass to take off and put on, but maybe not. i didnt look at the price but dont spend to much, some websites have good things to wear and not expensive either.

Haha, that Guess bathing suit looks like it came straight outta the snaz75 inventory. Just another case of civilian fashion imitating stripper fashion. So, yeah, you can totally get away with that swimsuit.

I've had guys "help" me taking clothes off before. It just depends on the club. Some clubs I've worked at, we weren't allowed to touch the guys while on stage. Others, girls were doing backflips into their laps and grinding their crotches into the guys' faces.

Typically shifts where I work--again, depends on the club. Most have a 6 hour minimum shift from the time you come in. So, get there at 9 pm, leave at 3 am. The clubs in my area close very late--anywhere from 4 am to 6 am.

I don't wear body makeup. the club lights camouflage a multitude of flaws.
