Anyone use them? Thoughts on them?
Anyone use them? Thoughts on them?
i think they are tacky. not to be mean, just my personal opinion. but i think other people share it because in my 5 years of dancing i have never seen a person wear them.

^ I agree. They are a cute idea in theory but I've never seen anyone use them and I personally would never either.
I saw a girl wear them last week at my club, actually. Not my style, though.
I actually like them... I have never worn them / seen anyone else wear them though. I would like a pair that's not clear and with a bigger slot so I could keep my money in them without people being able to see it.
Several girls I work with told me they break really, really easily.

Also, carrying your money in your shoes can make them heavier, and then pole tricks are more difficult. Even that tiny amount of weight can make a difference, especially when the shoes are weighted unevenly.
Thanks, I was just wondering, I thought they were a little interesting, but don't think I would wear them either.
^ Agreed. Imagine doing a trick on the pole and your money flying everywhere?
I guess it could be seen as part of the act but still...
I liked them, and had a pair. Customers loved them when I wore them. The only problem I had was with the ankle strap. They broke really easily and now I can't wear the shoes.

It depends on your style if you can pull them off, if you're glam don't go for it but if you have more a sporty look then I think they work.

I think I saw a post on here one time that a girl loved them because she'd go around asking if anyone wanted to put change in her shoes. She'd empty them out every few minutes to keep them light and from falling out. At the end of the night she'd have like $50 she wouldn't of normally had.
amandelicious; sweet, fine but vicious
I owned a pair of these in the past, and let me tell you they are not very comfortable. the slot cover (lid) thingy would slide downwards as the night goes on leaving the middle part of my feet unsupported. and i would have ringlike mark in the middle portion of my feet not to mention it's hard like hell to take your money in and out and a pain in the butt to take your shoe off to put a 20 in if the guy only got one dance.

I think they look more like smtg I'd wear as a gag, or for Halloween, than smtg I'd want to wear while working. Also I have seen a movie where this guy wore clear platform shoes that contained live swimming goldfish, & the shoes broke while he was walking in them. Those tip-slot shoes always remind me of that scene![]()
