    Default had my audition!

So basically... tonight i went for an audition at this club in mayfair in london. The club was small but full of dancers and only very few customers which im guessing is not a good sign. I did a little audition on the pole and the lady was a right bitch she said i look good but i dont dance well and she asked one of the girls to show me some moves and then to 're audtion'. So i did.
It went ok i guess she gave me the job but she didnt discuss anything with me and just told me to come back on tuesday because she didnt have time to go through anything with me.

Not sure whether to bother going back TBH. Its a small club and the girls were moaning about not making any money and they all seemed quite bitchy aswell. They were also saying how their things always get stolen in the changing rooms all the time so i would be so worried about leaving stuff in there.

I really want to work in london but i dont know where the money is its so frustrating! Everywhere iv heard about says theres always too many dancers and not enough customers! Urgh did any of you guys have this problem to begin with? Sorry to be such a moaner! it wasnt what i had expected! I guess when you start you think youll make loads of cash lol but its not like that at all...

well its a weird time to come into the busniess. there will always be girls complaning, even at the best clubs. however, if there were a ton of girls and not alot of customers you may want to consider looking at other clubs. you never know, it could have just been a night where a ton of girls showed up and not many customers. the club i work at is random like that, and the customer flow is random too. so one idea is to go back talk to them maybe start working and see how it goes and while you do that you can look at other clubs, another option is in the next couple days, check out other clubs, see how they look to you , regarding girls and customers. if you find one you get a better vibe from then try to get a job there. the issue that i am thinking about is the fact that you said you are just starting to dance, no experience right? if this is the case, (i dont know your personality) you may not want to start at a place with a ton of girls all the time. only because it makes it harder to make money if you dont have your hustle down yet. i picked a smaller club when i first started and i asked the owner when i came in, if there were always alot of girls working , customers in the club, all that shit. dont be afraid to ask questions. if you feel like explaining you have never danced before and are curious about the environment then do so. the important thing is to find a place you feel comforatable coming to work at everyday.

The manager doesn't sound that bad to me. I've actually never heard of a manager re-auditioning someone a second time the same day or asking another dancer to help show someone new a few moves. I think you ought to be thankful that she had someone help you and gave you a second chance!

If the dancers were complaining go try some other clubs ASAP, so that if they don't hire you then you still have a backup. If they do hire you though call and let her know you won't be coming on Tuesday so that if you ever want to you can still go back there.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
