Default Las Vegas & David Spade

Of course, which strip club(s) should I hit?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If you're already going to Rain at the Palms Casino, go to the Ghostbar and visit the Ghost Deck. The club is on the 55th floor and the Ghost Deck has a plexiglass floor so you can see 300 feet strait down!

Its been hot already lately- definitely bring your swimsuit for the pool of whatever hotel you're staying at.

The hot new clubs in vegas right now are Lavo at the Palazzo and XS at Encore. The Rehab pool at Hard Rock is very popular. The things you can't miss are the Fountain in front of the Bellagio and Caesar Palace Forum Shops.

Strip clubs- I would go to either Spearmint Rhino or Sapphire.

My boyfriend and I just got back from Vegas this weekend-we're not really into the nightclub scene, but I recommend Bare at the Mirage during the day. It's an adults-only, topless-friendly outdoor pool and lounge with a chill vibe. Also, we saw Penn and Teller at the Rio and they were fantastic! Definitely recommended if you like your magic and comedy mixed in with a hint of Libertarianism

Jade Simone St. Claire was telling me that Bette Midler's show is FANTASTIC. I didn't get a chance to see it but she said any dancer with an interest in showgirl entertainment really should see it and said it was probably the best in Vegas.

I've also heard Rehab is great.

Personally, I'm not into the Ghostbar. I'm old school though and love RumJungle at Mandalay Bay.

When Scarlet Phoenix came out here for vacation, I made her a huge list of cool stuff to do, even local stuff that isn't expensive. I have hunted for it, but can't find it.. maybe she kept it.

    Here is Mediocrity's list:

    Fun Bars Off The Strip:

I second, double and triple the Double Down Saloon recommendation. Try the Ass Juice shot.

There's a bar literally just called Divebar down on Tropicana that kicks ass. Live music, punk rock kids, bar food and $2 cans of beer. You can't beat that.

The Griffin down on Fremont St in old Vegas is great. Gas fireplaces, chill atmosphere.

Beauty Bar is a few doors down from the Griffin and is styled like a 1950s hair salon but has music. The have Martinis and Manicures on Fridays so you can get your nails painted and drink a martini.

    On the strip:

Ny, Ny Rollercoaster. Tis a must. It's like $12 a person to ride but if you bat your eyes at the attendant he will give you the MGM/Mirage discount which drops it to $6. Do it after dark!!

ROK : Inside NY, NY. In my opinion, has the best music in town for a mainstream club. Panoramic video screens, lots of dancing, it's fairly small. But great.

The Lions inside MGM. I mean, I love them. Seems cheesy but they are kick ass. I will stand there like 45 mins just watching them.

Sigfried and Roy's Secret Garden: Mirage. So beautiful and who doesn't love baby animals and dolphins?

Mandalay Bay Aquarium: The only predator-based aquarium in the country. I think it's $18. The have golden crocodiles, komodo dragons... I think it's pretty cool.

Cleopatra's Barge: Caesar's Palace. It's a boat inside the casino which is also a lounge. You're supposed to rub Cleopatra's nipples for good luck.

Bellagio Fountains: Dude, it can be seriously romantic. I only like it when they play the opera music.

Eiffel Tower: Paris. Go up to the top. It's worth it.

Gondola Rides: Venetian. The gondoliers sing opera to you. Get gelato at the square inside afterward, particularly the cinnamon, tiramisu or raspberry. Yum.

Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum: Venetian. It's interactive! I got pictures in bed with Hef, and my fella got one picking Harrison Ford's nose. Haha.

    A Few Restaurants I Like:

Trattoria Reggiano: Venetian. Very small, like 12 tables. It's like $15 a person, near the food court in an unassuming corner. Get the handmade cheese tortelloni with homemade Alfredo sauce.

Firefly Tapas Lounge: Something foreveryone and sooo good. Really popular so it can be loud.

Pink Taco: Hard Rock. Silly name, but seriously good southwestern food. Only drawback is it can be expensive.

... I'd give you some asian recommendations but I dont like asian food. Sorry.

    Other cool stuff worth mentioning:

The new TownCenter for shopping! It's near the south end of the strip.

The fortune teller caravan on Fremont Street. $14 for a palm reading. Super fun.

Fremont Street in general. And you've GOT to go to Girls of Glitter Gulch for fun! Or Talk of The Town. I love divey stripclubs.

Body English inside the Hard Rock on Sundays: It's Sunday school. Wear a school girl outfit and drink free champagne all night! They don't play hip hop either.

Whew! I could go on and on, but I think that should get you started!! Oh, and come see me at Seamless.
