    Default Shoe size help

Hi ladies, I need a little help with my shoe sizing. I picked up a new pair of shoes today. They are size 7 Pleasers - just like my last pair - and seem to be fine length-wise, but my toes are so squished in there and the plastic is so tight its pinching my skin (creating "rolls" haha). I'm worried that an 8 might be too long and I don't want to look like I'm walking with planks on my feet. So does anyone know how big the jump from one size to the next is? Do the 7s look stretchable or will my squished feet be distracting? Thanks in advance.

And oh yes, I didn't try them on since my feet are so wide, I always have to hair dry them before I can even think of getting them on.

Honesty with the lighting the way it is in most clubs, I don't think most guys will notice, unless of course you have a lot of foot fetish customers.

However, since you have to blowdry them to even put them on you may need larger size. If you do go larger, you may want a pair with an ankle strap to have some extra stability. Also, if you find your feet are too loose in 8's, you might want to look at a closed toe style.

    Best of luck.

my only advice is to keep blow drying them to melt the plastic .
keep wearing them and they will stretch.

try looking for 1/2 sizes. i know some dance shoe stores sell it. though it is hard to find.

Half size stripper heels are the unicorns of footwear. I did see one once. A half size stripper shoe, not a unicorn. Where pray tell might you find them?? Please!!! Usually I can wear a seven because the vinyl stretches and nothing hangs over. They say to size up but your livelihood is riding on those shoes. if you have too much extra room, you can turn an ankle. I've done this and it sucks!

Yeah, I never understood why dancer shoes only come in whole sizes.

Not sure if any of these will meet what you're looking for. But here are some options for size 7.5...

Hey thanks!! The way I've gotten around this is with the clear vinyl which is softer than the patent. I picked up a random pair with clear uppers and black heels and platforms. Similar to pleaser's vivian style sans the glitter.
Before that I was a devotee of the open-toe pleaser style with the teeniest platform and the straps which criss-cross around the heel and wrap round the ankle.
I tried to find them on the pleaser site and found a navigational nightmare filled with the butt-ugliest and the hottest shoes and every conceivable thing in between for boys, girls and everything in between.

those clear shoes give me hell. i stick to the mary jane type stilettos by pleaser, because i know what size i wear in rheir brand. i couldnt imagine wearing those clear plastic slip ons for more then 30 seconds.

Thanks for the help everyone. I guess I am a half size...I did return them for an 8 but my feet slipped around so much, I can't wear them. I'll stick with squishing 'em into 7s...

One other thing: shoes with ankle straps (like some pictured above) really cut off your leg line...something to watch out for if you're short.

Thanks again! I'll keep my an eye out for some unicorns lol

It depends on the manufacturer if they have 1/2 size or not, although they are a lot easier to find on line
