its ~42,000 without financial aid. My school is very generous with scholarships.... I have a good one and i have financial need aid to boot but I still have to pay a lot to go here, definitely more than 4,000. Thats largely why i work so much.... If i took out loans i would be paying them off for like 10 yrs. I have friends at this school who dont have a job stripping like i do and they probably will be paying off the student loans until they are almost 40. However, its a good school.

40,000+ as a tuition with no financial aid is becoming more and more common for 4 yr private universities. Its pretty ridiculous and its a shame but unfortunatley, thats the way it is.

What works for me is that most of my classes were Tues/Thurs with the exception of a gym class on Mon/Wed at 9am for half of the semester; I work Tues/Thurs/Sat and then try to pull Fridays too when I have a babysitter. Like others have said, just try to make your schedule as easy as possible with classes only 2 or 3 days a week vs 4 or 5 and work the days that don't interfere with class times in the AM.

Thanks so much for your answers! I think I might work a few hours less each night to have more time during the day. So then I can easily take one class a day before I have to go to work, and still have a bit of time on my days off to socialize. I hope. I just don't really like the idea of taking a bunch of classes on the days I have off from work.

Unfotunatley, sometimes you have to do things you don't like in order to get what you want. It is not my idea of a good time to never be able to hang out with my friends, to spend every second I have working or studying, to never have any time to spend with my husband to do "couple" things, etc. It just is what it is. The sooner you decide to just do it the easier it will be for you.

Well, here's my schedule. I work Mon, Wed, Thurs. I go to class no earlier than 11 am. Make sure I'm out of school around 4 ish. Go home relax, eat dinner, nap then get to work between 8:30-10. ( We close at 2am) I schedule classes on Monday, Wed, and some Fridays. That way if I have a test on Monday I study on Sunday night, and so on.

i took a lot of the classes that met one day a week in college too....like 3 hours, one afternoon....get it over with. You just can't miss many of them......like after two, we automatically failed. Maybe a couple of internet courses too.....

just don't overload your schedule. The worst thing I did was taking like 18 hours a semester trying to get done faster. My grades suffered those semesters. I was just spread way too thin
