I have no idea. I know they are nice and pretty. I like the texture, but really have no idea what thread count means, and why I would want a higher or lower thread count.

Aside from thread count, weave is also a factor to consider. Percale sheets are closely woven & the finest available. The high thread count gives the fabric a silk-like feel.

I've got Giza 45 Percale Sheets in the master bedroom... made in Italy from Egyptian cotton. Very luxe. 590-thread-count in the guest bedrooms...

Figured if I'm gonna spend 6-8 hours in bed, I can splurge on nice bedding

I also love really soft sheets, and I actually just got a set of 250ct Pure Beech sheets from BB&BY that are absolutely unbelievable. They were incredibly soft even after one wash, and now 5 washes later they're even better.

When shopping I've found that the softest sheets are not always the highest thread count. Your best bet is to unzip the plastic a little and FEEL it first. That's firsthand on what they feel like, no?

350 or 450 I think. I don't remember. I just know they're no where near as soft as my $30 jersey knit cotton sheets.

I like 250-300 percale. I don't need more tpi (threads per inch) than that. It's also in the lay of the individual threads, not just the tpi.

I cannot find what I want anymore. This stuff in stores now pills very fast and tears, and the more thread count the worse it seems to wear. Plus it's very expensive. And none of it is American-made.

This is what American consumers have done to themselves, constantly buying cheap just cheapens the entire market..
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

The hell with thread counts and mattresses for that matter. I prefer to do the dirty on raw box springs.

Well, speaking of thread count, if you ever have a chance to get hand made shirts, you will ohh and ahh over the high count shirts. I'll link m shirtmaker http://www.customshirt1.com/ The top tier (170,180, 200s) are other worldly. You'd never think a shirt could feel so heavenly.

Canadian made, 1000 thread count, Egyptian cotton! With a lovely tuxedo stripe.

I've been obsessed with high quality bedding since I was 16. There is nothing better than I comfy bed! The last time I went traveling actually, I brought a pillowcase with me. What a savior! I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to sleep well if I hadn't brought it.

Depends on exactly what "comfort" you are getting in that bed!

1,500, I believe. My bf bought them so I can't be positive... Might be 1,000.
