    Question Skin regimen for bride-to-be?

I'm getting married on June 6th.. and I can't wait!

I've been trying to figure out the best way to keep my skin looking GREAT so that by the time the big day comes, I will look FABULOUS even if I'm too busy to do much for my skin the day or two before it.

Right now I am using moisturelush moisturizer from MAC which I bought when I had some extra cash. I'm also using Aveeno moisturizer on my elbows and knees and sometimes my arms and shoulders if I'm not too lazy.

My skin is generally pretty soft naturally with no problems with pimples. I exfoliate my face once a week in the shower and use a pouf to wash with Olay moisturizing body wash, which really makes a noticable difference to me.

The goal is to have a very healthy glow on my wedding day. I refuse to use a tanning bed, and I've tried the self-tanner stuff which can be really difficult to get on evenly - and in general, a tan is not what I'm looking for. Just want that healthy glow of beautiful skin on my wedding day without spending an hour a day to get it.

And after all of that, it probably is going to be fine ANYway... just being a worry-wart, doing the "I'm a stripper and I gotta do "beautiful" to the extreme" thing.

BUT.. if anyone had ideas or suggestions that are low-to-no-budget friendly, please let me know!

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! And no masks for at least two weeks before the big day- they pull all the crap out of your skin, yes, but right to the surface, where it's visible. Then you get all your problems for several weeks all at once, and once those clear up you look great, but those couple of days suck...
And if I didn't mention it, exfoliate! Lots of water, too.

have you tried the gradual tanners? I really like the aveeno one. make sure to get it in the fair/light skin variety, or you will end up pretty dark.

    Thank you for the responses!!

Not really looking to tan, my skin tans pretty easily. Once spring comes around I end up with a general "not sitting indoors" glow that is good enough for me.

Exfoliation... will keep that up. Don't want to exfoliate too much, afraid to damage the skin. But I will exfoliate probably the day before the wedding.

Water, no problem. Liquids (non-alcoholic!) are my friends. Exercise? I'm addicted to country line dancing. Was just Saturday nights, but have now expanded that to Wednesday nights also. Might have to skip this Wed because last Friday night wasn't so great $$$-wise and need to conserve on gas money. Am still dancing Friday nights until the weekend of the Big Day.

Mental note.. no masks in the two weeks before, and EXFOLIATE! LOL
