Thumbs up Choice of San Francisco clubs

My friend has an internship that comes with a free-rent apartment in San Fran for the summer, so it seems like a pretty sweet deal to go along with her!! I've got some great info from the search threads, but I wanted to check up on info about some clubs and maybe get some advice from girls who are there now or generally know their stuff about the San Fran area

It seems like a lot of clubs there are Deja Vu owned and I wasn't keen on this because I *hate* leaving a paper trail (I want to work in law enforcement) and so I prefer to be an Independent Contractor and not have records. these are the clubs that I could come up with that are not DV owned (?) :

    - Roarin 20's
    - Sportys
    - Crazy horse II
    - Mitchell Brothers
    - Not sure about the Kit Kat Club in Sunnyvale?

How are things regarding what paperwork you need to do, things you need to show to be able to work? At my current place I just had to let them photocopy my license but I didn't need to show my birth certificate or SSI card; I'd rather keep it like that if possible.

I would love any help or advice you can give me ladies!

Roaring 20's is part of the Deja Vu chain.

If you are going into the law enforcement chances are they will go through your background with a fine tooth comb. Don't expect to be able to hide dancing. The clubs still have to report that you are doing work with them. You can either do this legally and have them consider that when going through your background, or you can attempt it under the table and potentially get caught doing something illegal... which would certainly screw your chances of getting hired.

I believe you need you government photo ID and SS card. I want to say I tried to not give my card to the hiring manager and they insisted. Why don't you just call though and find out?

Mitchell Brothers used to have a very bad reputation... the dancers made good money but it was pretty much a brothel.

Crazy Horse II - I have old regulars that love that club. It's closer into the downtown area and the Tenderloin - which personally I don't like. There's more people walking around that will harass you.

Sportys - Never heard of it.

Kit Kat - Lots of dancers love that club. I'm not sure how they are doing since the recession. I'd go check it out though.

Personally, I would say try the Deja Vu clubs on Broadway.

    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Roaring 20's is deja vu. Kit Kat & Sportys are not in sf, they are in the south bay area. Mitchell bros needs all private info, ss included. Also MB is a sex theatre not a strip club. Lusty Lady is not dejavu owned and it is san fran

Kit Kat is fully nude. I worked there in March 2008.

Roaring 20s is a shit hole and fully nude. Small too.

    Never been to CH2.

Broadway Showgirls is very nice. There's money at Centerfolds but you have to have a thick skin. I hear Hustler is pretty nice- I auditioned there but went to work elsewhere.

    Why those clubs?

yeah, Kit Kat is fully nude (but air dances) and i loved working there although it was a while ago (1998-2003). I still run into girls in Vegas that work there and Rich the GM. It's a great club with awesome management but it's super slow because of the economy.

IMO, Kit Kat was the best club in the bay area so might be worth a try.
