It's best to gather info from various sources - national, international, etc.
I learned a long time ago that the "news" isn't necessarily fact. Rather, it's an interpretation of facts, and rarely unbiased...

The Economist. Not as dry as you would think and frequently lol funny.

I get my news( like many americans these days), from my homepage, yahoo.com. Or, if I'm driving, the top of the hour news updates on the local radio.
