I know when I have been in a SC the places are usually like chimneys and many of the girls smoke too. Is this a conflict for girls to deal with or do they approve because many dancers do smoke?

I hate when clubs are supposed to be non-smoking so the dancers smoke in the dressing rooms.
As for smoking itself, I don't smoke but I'm pretty used to it... not that I think it's a good thing. I'm not sure how I would feel about working in a totally non-smoking club... my stripper bag wouldn't have official stripper smell... it would be like bringing home a knock off.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

It's illegal to smoke in bars here, thankfully. I have terrible reactions around smoke.

I work in a place where the girls smoke in the dressing room even though it's illegal. Its obnoxious. But in a way its kinda good bc while they're up there smoking Im on the floor making money.
Sorry I missed church. I was too busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian.

Smoking indoors is a health code violation in New Jersey. All it takes is a call to the board of health in the town and the bar could be closed and will be fined.
Thankfully the no touching rule is not so easily enforced as that is a state issue. Of course no one complains.![]()

I don't like being around all the second hand smoke, but there's no avoiding it. I heard that breathing second hand smoke for 1/2 hour is equivalent to smoking a cigarette. So that means I smoke, like, half a pack of cigarettes each shift, just by being there. And I go home reeking. It's worst at the club where guys like to smoke cigars. ewww.
My club has blown off the non smoking law in my state. The dancers who smoke smoke in the dressing room if they want. There is an area in the back end of the club where customers can smoke. There are no ash trays on the tables in the main area though.
My fav is a non smoker but doesn't seem concerned about it.

Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.

Dance in NJ. When smoking was banned in clubs in NJ it was not that noticeable; until I went to a club in Pennsylvania before they banned smoking. It was like walking into a solid wall of smoke.
Now I can smell it when someone is smoking by the door. Many places have a no smoking within 25' of a door.
There is a group of hospitals that just instituted a no smoking on the grounds rule; even in a car. One has a 1/4 mile driveway, long walk as one would not want to lose a parking space to drive.

I hate it, but I hate it in regular bars too. My clothes and hair always smell awful when I get home. I just ignore it at the time, it's later when I'm in my clean home that doesn't smell like ass that it grosses me out.

The clubs in Albuquerque have been smoke-free for almost 2 years now, I LOVE it!You can take a smoke break outside anytime you want so the smokers are happy too.

here in southern california, smoking is prohibited almost anywhere. some of the older clubs allowed smoking before it was banned and when you walk in you can still smell the residue. kinda like a vegas casino.

I used to smoke but quit some time ago. When I go to a bar now that allows smoking and get back to the house I can smell it all over me. If I go to sleep I make my pillow smell like smoke and if I take a shower the air smells like a wet ashtray for a while until the shampoo wins that battle. I can only imagine what it was like inside my lungs.

Our club its ok to smoke in but it's pretty well ventilated so it's not like you can see smoke. I have been in places that are small and cramped and smoke filled. I smoke but I do not smoke with/around customers unless they offer me a cigarette (theyre a smoker) sometimes it's a way to 'bond' - kind of like taking a drink when offered. I find it highly tacky when girls go up to a table of guys and just light up. Ive had many guys mention while Im sitting with them (non-smokers) that they wish she would go somewhere else and smoke. I used to do it - I learned - I have gone hours and hours without smoking because Im with non-smokers...
I guess if the place is well ventilated its not a big deal. I dont think I could work in a smoky environment (even being a smoker) and I had no problems working at non smoking clubs in California either.

A bar with no smoking? I haven't lit up since last November, but it wouldn't feel right for some reason .. geez I must be seem backward.

I hate that the club allows smoking. I always come home smelling like smoke, and guys who chat rarely bother to smoke in such a way that the smoke is not getting all up in your hair and face and whatever. ick! That said, the fact that smoking is allowed in the club is good for business! Lots of people come in because it's unlike other clubs in that regard. A mixed blessing.
HATE it. i can't stand the smell AT ALL.
I'm so thankful that smoking is not allowed in bars and restaurants here.

I'd like to think I won't, but my original 'quit date' was like March of last year. I have slip ups when I go through stressful stuff.
And when I've been drinking a lot I tend to bum one off someone, but anyways HAVEN'T BOUGHT A PACK SINCE NOV woo hoo

Isn't that like being a little bit pregnant? There is no such thing.
You must put the devil's weed down and never look back. I feel your pain; I was a slave to nicotine for 10 years but now I'm free. That is why I am so happy they don't allow smoking indoors in NJ.

Kahoot's in columbus, oh used to be my absolute favorite club to go to. Then they built a heated smoker's patio to get around the no smoking ban. Since it was built a lot of the girls smell as awful as an ashtray when they come to rub their boobs in my face. I actually get disgusted now when I go and have to go home immediately and shower because the smell is so awful. It used to be nice going home with their lovely perfume scents on me or no scents at all, but now it is just the ash tray smells. Thankfully there are still girls there that don't smoke so I can still have a good time, but I try to avoid sitting right at the stage and tipping all the girls because so many smell like ashtrays.

It won't be too long to when all states will ban smoking in public and business areas. Some states will resist it, but eventually they will have to cave in.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
