Question Crazy pole move: the Starfish

You can see a picture of it at wiki-pole in the pole move directory...has anyone seen this done in person...can anyone do it? It looks impossible!

I've seen it done IRL. But by a guy on a chinese pole.

I know it's possible on a "normal" pole, but you need extra grip. e.g PVC boots!

ps. Glad to see you guys are using www.WikiPole.org !!!

I like to see something beautiful too, but pole tricks for the sake of being pole tricks are very popular in my area. (not that I could ever do this crazy one)

Well, that's a new one! No, I've never seen that.

Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

The performers in one of the Cirque shows do something like that, I think. And yeah, its not a regular pole they're using.

This girl can do it... and do it barefooted! I don't know her in RL but we're friends on myspace.
