Thumbs down You Don't Work Here, Now Get off of Our Stage!

Over the past couple of weeks, our club has seen an influx of non-tipping, women customers coming into the club just for the opportunity to play "stripper for the night." Not only is it annoying as hell, but its a distraction to us ladies that are actually working to make money and secure clientele. Management doesn't seem to mind and even the dj encourages it. Its one thing to actually be invited on stage for show, but these chicks are just hopping on stage with street clothes on, all willy nilly. What gives? Has anyone else noticed this trend lately? This along with "spectator sport" male customers are the worst!

I really don't want to have to switch clubs off the strength of this matter, but if there isn't some sort of regulation soon, I may be forced to. Whatever happened to management protecting the interest of the dancer?

I would treat a woman jumping onto stage with me the same way I'd treat a man. I'd kick them the fuck off as hard as I could and not give a shit if they cracked their skull open on the damn floor.

Were they invited onto the stage or are they doing this of their own accord?

If they are being invited up the club might want to give them a little reminder that tipping money should only be leaving the club in the hands of their dancers. That means they need to re-tip it to the ladies who are working.

If they are doing this of their own accord the security people need to remove them.

This is just another reason why dance licenses could be a good thing. If we required everyone to have a license before getting on stage the city could impose fines to non-dancers trying to live the fantasy at the club.

Depending on how good you are with tricks, you should offer lessons! Remember immitation is the purest form of flattery. They just wanna be cool like you! LMAO. I've never gotten up the courage to do an ami night, but one night when a student of mine and I closed down a local sc, we asked the last girl if we could get up and dance for just a song. The guys loved it even though we kept our clothes on, and we slipped the $10 or so that we each made to the chick who was so nice.

But I agree that it's extremely rude for the girls to be simply hopping up on stage and taking over, I know the girls hate it when I sit on my husband's lap cause they think I'm working him...lol

This has been driving me absolutely insane. I don't know when SC's became the regular hang out for girls but it's getting obnoxious. It would be ok if there wasn't so many of them all of a sudden and if they tipped at all. I swear the other night we had more girls than guys itc. And most of them have been total bitches!

i almost had this happen to me once. there was a nice bachelor party tipping me and this stupid drunk bitch was on their side, trying to flirt with them.

her bimbo friends were on the other side. she was about to get on a chair and hop on my stage when i ran down the stage (it's rather long) and screamed, "don't even think about it!!!" the bitch almost fell off the chair. hahaha!!! the poor bachelor party looked stunned at my loud voice (my bouncer heard me from across the room!) and i apologized to them for my unladylike behavior. they understood though.

on a side note, i did read an interesting book lately called 'female chauvanist pigs' which speaks of this sort of behavior. i didnt agree with everything in the book, but it was interesting to look at a different perspective.

Where in the world do you work where the management truly protected the interest of the dancer? lmao I have never entered such a club. They protect what makes them money. And if bring in female custies that will pay to get in just to shake their lame asses on stage makes them money...they will allow it. It also draws more of a crazy large crowd eventually when news travels and them boom more money for them, but necessarly for you.

I hated watching female custies dancing on stage because they never could perform and made it obvious they were desperate for attention. Not sexy. lol

Gia, Im probably a bad Pole Teacher for posting this, but last week, a student asked me if I could take her to a SC so she could show off her pole skills.
    I said `So you wanna work there?`

She said no she just wants to go on the pole. I felt the rage rise. I said you cant just go in and use the pole, she looked suprised, I said thats someones work place, like you cant just go into a supermarket, bump someone off the tills and do it yourself. Those Dancers are WORKING its thier JOB!

I cant believe the shock, the ignorance. I suppose, she had no reason to know how it works there. She isnt psychic. But my god, how on earth do some civvie women think a lap club works? I dont wanna know actually, Id get even more angry.

But this isnt the first time Iv been asked something like this, and MY GOD! Does it make me angry!!!!!!!!!! So angry that everytime this convo happens at my studio (several times a year I might add) I end up shaking.

We have this problem at my club. Also with drunk male customers. (which is soooo odd)
It is extremely obnoxious but since unexpected there is not much that can be done.
My club is getting more and more "mainstream" and "clubbish" and we have more and more women coming in acting up to gain attention. Its LAME.

Thanfully it's not a huge problem at my club, but it does happen.

Last time it happened, as I was walking by the two woman playing on our practice pole, I just gave my bitchiest smile and asked, "are you ladies thinking about becoming dancers?" Even though they were both like 35+ and overweight. mwuahahah...

Where is the bouncer at? She or he needs to be put the fuck out of the club! If you kick someone off the stage you and the club could be looking at a lawsuit.

I live in Dallas and Im pretty sure I was told by a manager at the club that there were certain laws that govern what you are supposed to wear on stage. Like double lined panites, no street clothes, and heels at least 5". I used to go to strip clubs as a customer, women and mens strip clubs, but I stage tipped and got lap dances and had no intrest in going on stage. I was there to watch. I used to get mad though cause I had to have a male escort but I guess its understandable for situations like this and to keep out crazy girlfriends and such. Law or not, this should not happen and if or when I become a dancer this would piss me off ALOT too.

Who cares? Unless a dancer or staff member told them it was okay to be up on stage then the club would when the case. As someone else stated, you don't go into a place of business and take over another person's job. This isn't a dance club for people to randomly join in.

Unless you are talking literally "kicking" them... but I don't think that is the case. Maybe "removing" them from the stage is more appropriate.

    Gia:

I'm a little confused by your question. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. House slaves?

    Pixierocks:

The problem is that these women are not making the club money. They're in fact taking it away by cheapening the experience for men that actually come into the club to see and pay strippers- which they are not. Most of the time, these girls aren't making tips while on stage, rather putting on a lame show- for free. Consequently, this sends the message to some men that its OK not to tip. Why would they when they've just seen outside ass free of charge? Also, women patrons DO NOT pay a cover charge to get into our club and most of the time they're already drunk, coming from another party or club, so the bar isn't making money either. And no, I have never worked in a club that completely protects the universal interests of the dancer, but I do know that I would have never witnessed shit like this five years ago. Bouncers would've been ALL over it. I guess I can chalk this up to measurable downshift in industry...

I'll take whatever I get. As far as I'm concerned, if someone has reached the point of drunkeness where they forget where they are and clamber onto my stage like a stupid animal, then they are a direct threat to me. If the club bouncers won't protect me, then I'll do it myself.

Sure, I'll be arrested for assault, but the stupid bitch and her family will have to live with the social stigma of her being a whore who attacked a stripper on stage and became a vegetable over it. Fair trade as far as I'm concerned.

Just an edit, I wasn't angry or irritated at all when I said that VS, I think it might have sounded that way, but I'm not. There are certain things I just flat out will not tolerate, and to be honest, I can't imagine someone coming up on the stage. I don't work in places where that happens, so that's exactly how I would react. The closest I've had to that is a guy who tried to come onto the stage to grab me, and I DID kick him in the head to knock him away. He could've sued, I'd have happily fought it and gotten as much media attention involved as possible to humiliate him and his family. He didn't though, maybe he sobered up and realized he deserved it, although that's probably giving people too much credit.

I dunno, just stay off my stage. Maybe if a dancer did beat somebody down, it would send a message.

^ I'm pretty sure an attention whoring girl customer is not a real threat to you in the least in the same way a man lunging at you is. Seriously, read what you wrote. You sound completely irrational.
