    Default The customers

It never seemed to be an issue or topic of discussion on the site but I'm curious. Are the usual customers as off-putting as the pervs that will hit on you on the street? I mean when you're working, is there ever a guy you would want to dance for? Are they all unappealing slobs? How do you mentally prepare yourself for grinding against a 60 year old? The thought makes me cringe. I don't know how I'd put on a convincing show...

Every once in a great while your will come across a guy you are actually attracted to, but be prepared to know that you won't be attracted to most of them. I can't exactly explain what makes it okay... but I feel like I'm providing a service that is needed. There older men who have never gotten married an can no longer talk to women, there's men who have lost their wives and need some intimacy but are fully ready to date, there are men whose wives are in jail and they just need to not be home alone all the time. Sometimes you will see a physically handicapped person come in, and many of them have been disadvantaged at having relationships or sex. Then there are the guys who don't want to date or are just their for a bit of fun. There's tons of different reasons people come into clubs... and regardless of what that reason is I enjoy knowing that I can make their time with me relaxing and fun to fill a part of whatever else is missing from their life.

This happened to me for the very first time last week. I was actually completely and totally attracted to one of my customers and it was a completely different dance than I normally do. I actually enjoyed it. I've honestly never experienced that before. It was odd. I'm usually very disconnected from it. As you will see, the longer you do it, the easier that is. When I started getting that close to anyone made my skin crawl. I don't really care now. 21 or 71, whatever, as long as the money is there and they're respectful I could care less. I think it's something that just gets easier over time. Don't count on having any attraction to your customers (actually I think it's much much better if you don't) very often. Like I said, this just happened to me for the first time a week ago. But also don't count on them all being un-appealing slobs. Honestly, you're there to do a job, attraction levels are really irrelevant.

And also, remember, you're not required to dance for anyone you don't want to dance for.

Exactly. The happiness you give these men is what makes the job easier. Of course, it is not always easy because some men are rude/nasty, but mostly, they just want some attention and in a way, love. Even if it's for only a song and even if they are paying. Don't think about it as grinding on crotches of unattractive men, you will never last. Also, the men you will make the most money off of will be because of an emotional connection and making them feel good inwardly and have fun. You can only grind on a cock for so long, get them to enjoy your company and you will go further.

Most men bear such immense responsibilities with families and work, they come to the SC to escape and be treated special by a beautiful woman. You are giving them an experience they can't get anywhere else and they appreciate you for it. In turn, you will not see them differently then you do now.

In a way, it is really a gift you are giving. I sound crazy to you because you have not danced as I have for many years and see the business so differently than I do. But you are creating an experience. Do it right and you will make many men very happy (and I am NOT talking about the penis, I mean emotionally), AND make you lots of money.

A tip also.. Look for characteristics that you enjoy in the person instead of the physical attraction. Focus on their positives. You will find people that you genuinly enjoy the company of.

I think I sound nuts to you.. but it's hard to explain. Something you gain only through experience maybe..

I feel a little intimidated dancing for young "hot" cocky dudes, I find it easy to make old men happy, and they don't have inflated egos and don't seem to judge you as harshly

in general (i think) most dancers find that they don't care either way for the majority of the men they dance for. IOW you won't be attracted to them and you won't be repulsed by them.

however, you will probably be MORE LIKELY creeped out/repulsed than attracted to.

IOW (showing my own aprox breakdown ) something like this:

let's say out of 100 customers... my opinion would probably be close to...

    neutral: 70
    disgusted/creeped out by: 25
at least somewhat attracted to: 5

    *note
i'm not speaking for "all dancers". i do imagine though, that most will probably describe something similar to that in terms of percentage.

i feel this way. besides me personally feeling less comfortable dancing for the younger ones, i've also had plenty of times when they felt they were entitled to extras or a dancer's phone number because they think they're cute.

^I find that the young guys are (in general, not always) less likely to spend decent amounts of money and more likely to waste your time. A lot of them tend to view strip clubs like they do any other club.. a place to pick up chicks. Also, when they are in groups I've found that sometimes it becomes a sort of competition to see which one can get a date. F that.

Oh and, I know I might catch flack for this, but whatever:

I work dayshift (by choice) and I have a habit of hanging out by the front door when there's no available customers. Every once in a blue moon a group of young guys will be standing outside waiting for a friend or whatever. I will occasionally stand by the door on the side (so they can't see me) .. and listen in on the conversation. You'd be AMAZED how often I hear stuff like "Don't let these girls take your money, dude". Then they walk in already on the defense.

I don't have the time or patience for that.
