I've never got a Mystic Tan before and I was wondering if the stuff will stain a manicure or pedicure. Should I get my nails done before I tan or wait until after?

after
b/c if you get acrylics and forget to put the weird lotion on it it turns a funny color

If you have acrylic nails and intened on getting spray tanned once in a while you should buy those pink rubber nail savers ( a lot of salons sell them or maybe look online) as far as the toes I don't have any suggestions but never walk into the booth with a fresh mani or pedi- it'll get ruined

I Mystic Tan once a week. If you have a French manicure, be sure to coat your nails with the barrier cream. After 3 weeks they start to look a bit orangy....but I'm usually ready for a new full set of acrylics after 3 weeks. If you have a dark color nail polish, no effect.

I get Versaspa and agree that it's MUCH better than Mystic!
My trick is to bring along a pair of disposable gloves and that insures my Solar nails are kept nice...THEN,I simply use an at-home tanner or a "gradual" one everyday to blend the difference, your hands are usually a bit lighter because of all the washing...
In a pinch you can just blend on an "instant tanning" product or spray with Sally Hansen airbrush for legs.
The barrier cream is useless to me,LOL!!! Messy and seldom works,I do use it on my feet but the excess can be removed with a bit of alcohol.
I was booked in for a pedicure and Id had a spray tan before and they said they couldnt give me a pedicure as it would ruin the tan, they jus did my actual nails. Id go with using some sort of protection for your nails when getting the spray tan.
