    Default Sophisticats London

Hi, does anyone have any experience of what this club is like?

I have been in the club so know it looks pretty nice, but I wondered how it is to work there, I never really seem to hear anything about it and it is one of those places that advertises for new dancers EVERY week...a clue?

yeah i noticed that they had an advert up on Gumtree the other day...I've not worked there myself, but I had a mate who was at performing arts school nearby who's worked there who saw her way through college by it.

    I suppose it's all relative.

If you're good at sit-downs this is the club for you, so if you're a bit of 'wanna dance' girl avoid. The reason they advertise for girls each is week because the dance manager Lance (an ex-prima ballerina) loves auditions!

    ^^
is that the "housedad" If so, he must be one of the gayist person ever (nothing wrong with that but he's really overdoing it !).

According to most of my friends, if you are not skinny you won't get hired, I don't know if that's strictly true or not but lots of my friends didn't get hired there and at least few of them are (in my opinion) stunning (not that the others wouldn't be pretty, they are, however a few of them are outstandingly good-looking).
So I have no idea how they choose the girls, I'd like to know myself if the skinny rule is true or not x

I've heard about the 'skinny' notion also. ..must be some element of truth in it if lots of people have heard it...it certainly put me off from ever trying there...

    lol!

    Thanks for your replies girls...
I know the best way to find out if a club is for you is to try it out personally but it seems everywhere is crap right now, maybe I will give it a try as if it is a different atmosphere to Strings(which i didn't like) maybe I'd like it...not if there is no money though obviously, maybe it will just be a different kind of crap...

I've auditioned and/or worked in most London clubs and most ask to see your ID/passport before they even let you audition.
