And (in the dressing room) cried a little bit because I was also tired and sick. The club owner saw. I feel so stupid!
I need to watch how many drinks I let customers buy me.
Just needed to vent.![]()

I got so drunk at work the other night, I left without paying tipout to anyone! I got my ass totally chewed out the next day-still feel like a total, dumbass jerk.
Lesson learned-drink less.![]()

Seriously. I caused a bit of drama and feel shitty about it. I'm going to give more tips to the people who were forced to deal with me last night.
Story of my life.....or at least it used to be. I was having wayyyy too many of those nights, and decided that I had to start watching my alcohol consumption, or else.
It was affecting my money too, cause if I had one of those nights I wouldn't show back up at the club for like a week. Now, I still drink but I cut myself off when I feel I am getting "that way"......and by that way, you know what I am talking about, we all have our point where we should stop drinking.
Especially if it is a bad night and things are going shitty (customers are being cheap/rude) I will stop drinking completely. If I am drunk I am more likely to mouth off to a customer, complain in the DR (which is NOT good at my club...I've seen girls fired for it) or do/say something stupid to a co-worker. Also, the hangover the next day isn't worth it for a night of making no $$ and there being drama.

Yeah. I definitely wasn't watching the number of drinks I downed yesterday.... stupid $2 special!![]()

I was there for a minute during your coughing frenzy, I asked you if you needed some water and such but you said "NO!" Guess maybe I didnt see this drama that you are speaking of, but nobody was "talking about it" so it obviously wasnt too bad.
I am not on tonight, Im going out with Amber to the Casino and to have a few drinks but I'll be back Sunday. Good luck on your date!

^Lol, sorry! I didn't mean it to come out like that. Amber is awesome. Have fun at the casino.![]()

I laughed when I read this. Not at you but at all the dumb stuff I've done drunk in the past. Don't worry averyone will forget in two days time.
But I did want to share.. One time this girl I used to work with who WAS Black Barbie was so drunk she took off her fishnet dress and thongs at the end of the night, grabbed her flight attendant bag and walked out the front door (on a main road) in her stripper shoes and birthday suit. At least you didn't do that

^^ OMFG Gia!! I can't believe a girl did that!

Hahahahahaha thanks Gia!

I used to get blackout drunk when I first started working. Now I still have occasions where I'm really embarrassed about something I did or said, but at least I don't get super duper drunk anymore.
I think the worst thing I did was actually after work. I was already pretty drunk when I got picked up from work and my friends wanted me to go to another bar. BAD IDEA I remember saying... well I managed to get kicked out of a freakin' biker bar. A biker bar!! How does that even happen!? I don't remember lol.

When I started working I gave myself a two alcoholic drink limit and have pretty much stuck strictly to it. I just feel safer knowing I have rules that I inforce for myself. Plus, I drive like half an hour to the club, and regardless of anything that could happen inside the club, I DONT wanna be a drunk driver.

Dude, Gia, that is one of the funniest drunk stripper stories I've heard lately. And Kitkat, I went through the same thing, got waaasted, was so embarrassed, and the next day no one even really knew what I was talking about. I learned my lesson but stopped being embarrassed about the couple of times it happened after I realized that there is someone in any club who is always going to be more drunk than I'll ever be and is probably like that almost every day she's there. Or he, some of the DJs I've worked with make dancers look like freakin' saints.
A little drunk drama is nothing compared to girls I've seen barfing every night, passing out on couches, passing out on the toilet, passing out IN the toilet, and crying hysterically in front of customers because they just don't understand why they aren't making any money, or at least that's why I'm pretty sure they were saying because they were so fucked up they could barely even talk.

everyone has nights like that. the important thing is to make sure that they are FEW and VERY FAR between. Don't bring up your behavior, you don't want to bring it up. People see this shit happen so much that they just brush it off. If you were rude to staff, tip them a little bit more and say, 'sorry about the other day'. Leave it at that! If the club owner saw you, make sure that the next time he sees you you're on point, and the time after that, etc. He probably won't remember the one time you goofed.
Positive reinforcement. The other thing you need to know is that you shouldn't beat yourself up over it. At least you didn't do what Gia mentioned, WOW....
Luckily (??) I'm starting a medicine that disallows alcohol.. or at least, much beyond a glass of wine. I'm glad for that though, because after my first night, I got a little too drunk and also fell off the pole, just spinning on it a little. I've asked the bartender and waitress to give me just OJ, instead of mixed drinks. The bartender actually commented that he wished other girls did that.
Anyway, I'm totally turned off booze right now, 'cause I'm laid up in bed from severe food poisoning. So, if avoiding this nausea and vomiting is possible, I'll all for it!

yeah kokoro, isn't it amazing how that happens? i've been there! i'm currently on a medication that makes me not want to drink, it makes me focus at work. told my shrink about it, let's just say she wasn't exactly upset about that side effect lol

I think one of my major problems when I first started was that I was also on a medication that didn't go well with alcohol. I *thought* I could handle it but looking back on it I reeeally wasn't handling it lol. Oh well, now I'm off the meds and I also don't drink much at work. I have my limits, but I'll admit it is still hard for me to say no to free alcohol!! I'm getting much better at it, though![]()

I've only been drunk at work once because it was my friends birthday and it was turning out to be a slow night. My club doesn't serve alcohol so there isn't a risk of customers buying me excessive drinks. The night that I was drunk was a disaster. I ended up making no money and just being lazy. I'm a light weight so if I ever work at an alcohol club I'd have to limit my drinks to two or less.
I do best when I'm completely sober and totally awake.
