This is very helpful bc he was sweet enough to take the time to write all this out.![]()
Sorry I missed church. I was too busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian.

I actually met him (NOLA manager) in person when I went to New Orleans. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met. He even drove me to the airport when I went back home. Seriously look him up when and if you go to New Orleans.

^ He seemed like it! Im actually hoping to get to meet him when I finally confirm the dates I'm going.![]()

It's been awhile but I worked at Temptations and maybe I fell in love with how on the down low it is.
My guy friend and I went to Rick's and a few others in the area, and we both decided we like Temptations the best for whatever reason. I'd already stripped across the country and we were in Dallas and Vegas the previous weeks so there was something about this place that stood out.
I only danced for a week but did pretty well (spring-time). Personally I don't do extras as stated in NOLA's review but still found it to be a worthwhile experience. He says the management is 'hard-nosed' which is probably more like old school and what I'm used to so no problems for me there.
If I were to dance in Florida and I know there are far nicer clubs, but I would check out Mons Venus.

Nola Manager's club review thread is the most helpful and comprehensive resource for NOLA info that I've found on the site. I also have written several reviews in the "Clubs and Reviews" section.
I seriously warn anybody against coming down here in the summer and hoping to make money. New Orleans is DEAD during the summer. It's hurricane season, the heat is awful, and crime goes up. There's a million reasons to not be around here right now. I'm just counting down the days until fall, because really, it's unbelievable how bad any kind of service industry job sucks in the summer down here.
If you do decide to come, check the convention schedule and try to schedule your trip around that. Essence Festival is big--it happens around the 4th of July--so that might be worthwhile to come down for.
Nola id dead dead dead in the summer!

Ugh, that is why I'm not in the clubs right now. I was walking through the Quarter last night and the streets were dead; I shuddered to think what the clubs must be like inside.
