Default VIP rooms--tell me the truth:)

Ok, so I'm scared of the idea of going into a VIP room with a guy, and my question is, why would he pay the extra money to go in there without expecting "extras?" I'm not wiling to do that, but I feel like if I work at a place with VIP rooms, guys will expect it. What other reason would a guy have to fork out the extra cash other than wanting you to get in his pants? Sorry if I'm ignorant, I'm just confused about it all because I know one club where extras seem to be expected in VIP...and of course, that's the place where girls seem to make the most money. Thanks

If you think like that, you'll never make money without doing extras. They pay your for your undivided attention and privacy. They want to spend the money. They have a lot of it. If they wanted hookers they'd go to a street corner.

Whether guys "expect it" or not, you can make money in VIP rooms without doing a single "extra." All it takes is good salesmanship and the right kind of customer to close the deal.

What you're selling in this case is the privacy and intimacy of one-on-one time with you as opposed to milling around the loud, crowded floor, and sometimes more contact is allowed in VIP. The VIP room's furnishings are (or at least SHOULD BE) more comfortable, as well. Sometimes the VIP area has its own bar. Whatever the little perks are, that's part of it. It's like being bumped to first class on an airplane. You're still flying from New York to LA, but you're doing it in style.

It's a status symbol, too. Sell it as such.

yes, some fork out the cash expecting extras because some girls promise it, and some subset of these girls follow through. This is not everyone though.

Why would they fork out the extra cash? For some one on one time with you. The private rooms provide the illusion of more intimacy and closeness. Guys like not having other guys staring at them while getting a dance. The music isnt as loud so conversation can be better. Where I work i offer higher contact dances in vip and the table dances are close to air dances. You want to give the idea that you want to spend some alone time with the guy so you can devote all of your attention to him.

It will help you convince guys to fork out hte extra cash for vip time with you if you start believing its worth it. You devoting a half hour or hour of your time to focus just on one person is valuable... start thinking of it that way.

Also, some girls get vip time iwth guys by lying that they will do extras. I would be wary of this. First off, it could give you a reputation. Second off, if you have some creep he might get really angry when you dont follow through and get aggressive. Third off, its illegal to offer illegal services even if you have no intention of following through.

Another thing the ladies above aren't mentioning is that if you are giving lap dances in the regular area, at most clubs you are still expected to go up on stage when you are called. However, when you are in VIP your name is normally taken off the rotation list.

I personally have never been an extra girl in my life but used to sell alot of rooms and a lot of repeat rooms because I do actually make the guy feel good back there by talking a little bit more intimately, giving better dances, I sometimes take my shoes off and put my feet/ legs on his lap (I'm very short so usually when sitting on a couch they don't reach the floor anyway!~) But that is what a lot of men want, someone to listen to them/ entertain them, make them feel special.

I really don't mean any offense by this Jada as I very rarely say snide things to the girls but the way your post was written worries me a bit. I feel like maybe you are a little young or maybe easily persuaded and don't want to see you pushed into something.... a lot of girls get in trouble that way. I hope for your sake that you toughen up a little bit.

    ^^^ completely agree!

While it's true that lots of girls will take advantage of the VIP rooms to do extras this does not mean you have to do it too. This is rule number one when stripping: you don't have to do anything you don't want to do. Even if all the girls are doing it, even if your manager asks u to do it, even if it's legal to do it, if u don't feel comfortable doing it then don't.

They've given u some really good ideas on this thread, so make a list of the advantages the vip room has at your club and use them with ur customers.

Another tip.. Use a different tone of voice when talking about the VIP. You should sound a lot more excited when explaining what the VIP is about. Think about how a 6 year old would tell you about his first visit to Disneyland.

While everything posted on the subject of 'extras' in VIP is true, in fairness it doesn't tell the complete story.

    A. many dancers sell VIP to customers by 'promising' more than they actually intend to deliver. This is arguably a deceptive business practice, and can sometimes give rise to unwanted consequences. In extreme cases those unwanted consequences can actually become dangerous.

    B. dancers are usually able to sell VIP to 'new' customers without much consideration being given to the availability of 'extras'. However, once that 'new' customer has discovered precisely how much or how little a particular dancer is willing to provide in VIP, some number of customers are not going to be 'repeat' customers. Thus the relative success of dancers selling VIP without 'extras' is often a function of the size of the club, the relative percentage of 'new' customers coming into the club on a nightly basis etc.

    C. With the recent spread of strip club review websites, particular clubs with active customer comments on such websites may now 'put out the word' that dancer X is willing to provide 'extras' while dancer Y is not. This in turn may result in 'new' customers avoiding dancer Y without bothering to spend money on one VIP to find out for themselves. The likelihood of this happening is a function of how 'active' a particular club's customer comments section may be on the larger strip club review websites.

    Ladies,

Thanks for your honestly. I'm sorry if I sent out the wrong impression to some of you. I'm an neither young or naieve (mid 20's, college degree) but I waitressed at a club where girls talked about doing extras in the VIP room and it scared me--they acted like it was "the norm" and it turned me off to dancing for a few years! I think the exact quote was something like (from one dancer to another) "I saw you jacking that guy off...don't take a piece of MY pizza with jizz on your hands!" I just wanted to know if all clubs are like that, and I'm glad they aren't! I was asking also mostly as a safety concern--it scared me to think a guy might expect something I won't give and maybe get angry. Like I said, I only had my one experience to go off of, but I'm far from a pushover and just want all the info before I get myself into any situations. Thanks!

that quote is.... disgusting. gross. Some girls in this business make me want to vomit. If the girls are that open about extras too, it might be a sketchier club and you might want to look somewhere where the extras are better disguised so there are customers who come in just looking for entertainment.

Yea i sometimes worry about my safety too. I honestly wont take anyone upstairs who i feel uncomfortable with... I only sell the table dances where the bouncers are within eyesight to anyone who gives me a creepy rapist vibe. I also never promise more than i deliver which helps. I am planning on starting a self defense course soon which might help.

Also, hopefully the vip rooms in your club are set up sensibly. My club has what are essentially cubicals with curtains blocking the view form the opening side (of course they are designed to look fancy). This makes escape easy. However, I worked at one club in new orleans where i would not try to sell any vips. You had to walk through a courtyard to get to them and there was a door closing it. If something went wrong you were on your own until the hostess realized your time was up. I was too scared to take anyone into those rooms for more than one or 2 song time slots.

I wish all clubs had cameras in the vip rooms or at least fake cameras or a help button. I sometimes worry about my safety too. Fortunately i have built up a lot of arm strength from pole work etc...

    ScarletPhoenix -- on VIP:

"It's like being bumped to first class on an airplane. You're still flying from New York to LA, but you're doing it in style."

I don't work at a club with VIP, but I feel like this is an amazing description. Thank you!

Kylea -- I'm new to my club, but I'm in Colorado too and typically when I'm giving a lap dance, one of two things happen concerning my stage time:

    a) the DJ notices I'm giving a dance and based on the assumption that I will be trying to sell multiple dances to the same customer, he will skip me in the rotation. I prefer this.

    or

    b) the DJ doesn't take any notice of who's giving lap dances until he calls me on stage, notices about 20 seconds in that I am not appearing, then sees me giving a lap dance and calls another girl to replace me in that set.

    (A) is possible only because the DJ has a pretty complete view of our entire floor.

^^^ You're new though and have only danced at 1 club. I've done this a long time and danced at MANY clubs. Trust me, in most places the club doesn't care if you've already got a customer for a lap dance. If you are expected to be on stage you are expected to be on stage. The DJ or Management will typically mention at most clubs that you missed your stage call, and if it becomes a problem you won't be working at the club.

I've worked at clubs where lap dances do qualify to take you off rotation, but that's typically because the club doesn't have a VIP area, and out of those without a VIP area it's still a TINY percentage of clubs that let dancers skip stage sets for lap dances.

Because a guy will pay what you tell him to pay. You don't need to explain why do don't do extras. It's a frickin' dance club not a brothel.

Let me tell you something...all men are expecting sex when they have the urge and when there is a woman around they have a hard time controlling it.

It's your job and duty as a sexy and assertive female to tame them inside and out of the club.

VIP rooms are great. They're private, you don't have to deal with constant interruptions, and let's face it - he's paying you for your time! If you don't want to give a bunch of dances, you don't have to! You're selling your TIME, not what you can do. Have confidence in the product you're selling.

"just think about it! it's just you and me, we don't have to worry about anyone interrupting us, and we just get to enjoy ourselves! don't you think a bit of privacy would be nice?" yes, you're giving the illusion, the fantasy.... but when you're back there with them, and give them a few dances, then stop for a breather and just enjoy the conversation.... well, it's easy for time to slip away.

Well...My club never had them (VIP rooms) till they remodeled and I have yet to offer it to EVEN ONE GUY. Even though everything is brand new I imagine it already has a thin layer of cum everywhere.

I just don't like the idea of being back there with anyone alone honestly. It always seems like it's going to be more than I can handle, the really good customers are content chatting me up outside on the floor and then springing for some $40 nude dances. I think I need to learn this salemanship thing without sounding bitchy...

The VIP Room is the natural next step of what the guys call the "girl-friend experience." In other words, when you're in the front of the club, he might as well be hitting on you in a bar. But in the VIP room, he gets to believe that he's succeeded in attracting you. It's a powerful draw, wanting and being wanted.

That said, I agree with the other posters that you may want to reconsider the club you're working for. If "extras" are expected in your VIP, then no girl-friend experience will suffice. Word will get out that you don't provide extras, and your income will be cut, so you'll be forced to make a decision between money and self-respect.

it's cool that you are trying to find a club that will fit your level of comfort...this is very smart of you.

No one wants to work at a place where you have to be constantly competing with whores

Take my club for example, I loooove my club...love it! we have VIP rooms but they're not completely private, they are more like private booths that are separated by see through curtains, and we have cameras all over the place so even if you do WANT to do extras you can't. I think that the dirtiest you can get is if you let a guy suck your nipples lol ... so selling VIPs is not really that hard, as long as the customer has the money and likes you, there's not the problem of ... "that other girls is going to do so much more"

so we hardly ever get the problem of extras, plus if you do do the thing above, the manager will fire you, guaranteed.

but.... right down the street from where I work there's this other club that has the ugliest, fattest, dirtiest girls!!! they have completely private rooms, the ones where you can actually lock the frikin' door! and if you go to their website, there's a forum for customers where they can discuss their experiences at the club. I almost threw up when I saw their posts....things like: "who's the best fuck?" or "who can suck it better"

So take your time to find the club where you can feel comfortable and not have to compromise any of your morals

Here's my favorite thing from there so far:
"Let's see it's pretty well know that US govt provided Pakistan with military funds so that they could funneled to afghan rebels through the ISI. A lot of the US funding went to support a respected rebel, Mullah Mohammed Omar. When the rebels took over, Mullah Mohammed Omar established themselves as the Taliban. So, the CIA funded the Talban. "

    SERIOUSLY! It's there.

Also, why do all the hooker fuckers call breast implants "bolt ons"? Ugh, so crude.
