    Default Doo Grow--any experience?

I've started taking folic acid, been taking the biotin, applying monistat to my scalp (some gets on the hair, naturally) and using a light oil to moisturize every other day,and washing my hair less, using rosemary products, and conditioning, and just last week applies a henna dye which really sealed my cuticles.

I'm trying hard here to grow healthy hair faster.I rue the day I ever bleached!
My question is..has anyone ever used the Doo Grow line of shampoo or conditioner and gotten any note-worthy results? Or has anyone used a shampoo/conditioner that actually did what it claims to do and make your hair grow faster?

I've never tried it, but there are a few answers on Yahoo:

I'm also trying to grow healthier longer hair, and have researched a lot of shampoos and conditioners, and have never seen anybody on hair growth forums recommend Doo Gro. The best thing to do it to look for the most natural shampoo or conditioner. Carefully read the labels and educate yourself so that you know what is in the product. Try Long Hair Care Forum or Black Hair Media.

I think you are doing a lot of the correct things ( I grew my hair from a Chucky doll look after taking out extensions) to it being a bit too long in about two years, I still have a little bit of damage but my hair looks healthy when styled.
You do need to trim in regularly though (just a snip will do). Also, there is some kind of laser treatment but the only doc. I know that does it is in LA. I take it you are not. I have no idea what it's called but maybe you can google it and see if there is something in your area.

I totally agree with regular trims! One time I lost about 2 inches while combing my hair due to breakage..

I use this stimulating Chinese herb shampoo, I will look for it & give you the name. I ordered it online, I really like it as a change from my regular shampoo.

I haven't tried any of the recipes yet, but I'm thinking about it. I just bought a bunch of hair products from Sallys, including a Henna 'n Placenta mix. I'll let you know how that goes!
