    Default another audition question

what do you do with your stuff while you're auditioning? When I called the club I want to dance for they said I could use the DR to get ready, but I could not use a locker. So...

If there aren't any lockers, try to bring a suitcase that locks. Definitely don't bring any more than you need to in terms of valuables. I try not to bring anything that would upset me if it got jacked. And, as a last resort, you can ask the house mom to ask your stuff, or hide it somewhere out of the way, but neither of these options are as reliable as locking it up.

And don't share a locker with any of the girls, even if they offer.

I agree, try to find a bag with a lock on it. Just go to the club ready (if you can), make up done hair done, etc...you could even have your bikini on underneath what your wearing so basically you just have to put your stripper shoes on & go audition. Have a bag ready in your vehicle (with lock) in case he asks you to stay and work, u can run to your vehicle & get out your oher items. IF its just an audition & thats at, then itll make it nice & easy for you to throw your clothes and flippys back on, grab your strippershoes and go. No fuss at all.

    Just a suggestion.........

I agree with everyone who said to bring light. At auditions I came in wearing the outfit under my clothes and my hair and makeup done. I brought a friend and had the friend hold my purse or other items during the audition.

Yes...don't bring any more than you need. One pair of shoes, one simple outfit, and have your hair/makeup already done. Carry your small things in a purse. Take care of all of your personal needs before you get to work so you won't have to deal with baby wipes and whatnot...

Also be aware that newer girls are the most likely to be accused of (and to actually be) stealing others' things. So until you have an established reputation, don't spend much time in the dressing room alone and whatnot. You could end up having the whole club against you if someone decides to accuse you of this. It probably won't happen, but I've seen this in action.

I've only ever had one thing stolen at my small club, but I've been lucky and careful. Make your stuff look innocuous and like it wouldn't be worth the effort to steal.

Most dancer carry a purse to keep their tips in. They set it on stage out of reach of the patrons while dancing. I wouldn't do it all the time, but just once while trying out is ok.

Like everybody said just go ready with your clothes on underneath. I carry my money around with me all night in a small purse/wallet but I never bring money, my credit card/atm card with me, just my ID. I put it on stage while I'm dancing, just stick your car keys in it and do that while you're auditioning.

A lot of clubs have valet parking though, so they make you give your keys to the valet even if they don't charge you for it.
