....while remaining totally sunless?
I've found that spray tans (airbrush or not) last about 3-4 days at best. I don't know if it's because my skin exfoliates at a faster rate than normal or what. It's so **** depressing. But I want to stay relatively tan all the time! I'm very pale but I need a very dark product in order for it to show up on my skin (for whatever reason). I just tried the new VersaSpa, darkest color in clear, and it barely showed up on me.
What's the best regime for staying constantly somewhat tan on a totally sunless diet? Spray tan, then use gradual tanners? Spray tan, then apply a more hardcore tanner every other day?
I'm just getting so fed up, I want to figure out a regime that works. If I go too dark with too many coats on the spray tan, I get patchy when it wears off. I don't want to wait until I am pale again in order to get spray tanned.
I feel like I'm either one extreme (really tan) or the other (my beautiful pale self). I want to find a happy medium. Does anyone else only rely on sunless tanning? What's the best way of going about it?
Also: I have found the perfect airbrush artist, but she isn't using the best solution. She is using the South Seas (or South Beach or something) solution. It looks good the first day, but wears off super quickly. Ideally, she would be using the St. Tropez solution. The green-base looks entirely natural on me. I really like her a lot though, and her technique is great, so I don't want to compromise by going to anyone else.
