    ....while remaining totally sunless?

I've found that spray tans (airbrush or not) last about 3-4 days at best. I don't know if it's because my skin exfoliates at a faster rate than normal or what. It's so **** depressing. But I want to stay relatively tan all the time! I'm very pale but I need a very dark product in order for it to show up on my skin (for whatever reason). I just tried the new VersaSpa, darkest color in clear, and it barely showed up on me.

What's the best regime for staying constantly somewhat tan on a totally sunless diet? Spray tan, then use gradual tanners? Spray tan, then apply a more hardcore tanner every other day?

I'm just getting so fed up, I want to figure out a regime that works. If I go too dark with too many coats on the spray tan, I get patchy when it wears off. I don't want to wait until I am pale again in order to get spray tanned.

I feel like I'm either one extreme (really tan) or the other (my beautiful pale self). I want to find a happy medium. Does anyone else only rely on sunless tanning? What's the best way of going about it?

Also: I have found the perfect airbrush artist, but she isn't using the best solution. She is using the South Seas (or South Beach or something) solution. It looks good the first day, but wears off super quickly. Ideally, she would be using the St. Tropez solution. The green-base looks entirely natural on me. I really like her a lot though, and her technique is great, so I don't want to compromise by going to anyone else.

I air brush too. I have the same problem. I do know that if take a few days off work I will scrub off my tan and start fresh when I head back to work. It is like starting with a fresh canvas. I have to moisturize like two or three times a day to keep my tan looking its best. I also use the malibu tan - Hemp - golden glow - skin firming bronzing moisturizer once a day. It really helps. Be careful that you get the right kind because there are lots of types in the hemp. You can get it at walmart for like 7 bucks. ***Don't use it on your face. You might break out*** This lotion tends to even things out that might be wearing off in a third day.

i love my jergens self tanning lotion. i swear by it, and i always get the medium/tan one. I live in southern california, but i haven't been outside much lately.... I was at my day job about a week ago, and bent over, revealing my back - all of a sudden, a coworker comments on how tan i am, and how many days was i at the beach this week?

lol the last time i went to the beach was in april.

i wish i had the money for airbrushing, but right now i don't..... so i guess i'll stick to my jergens.

i'm dealing with this too. how do you get rid of the spray tan solution? i hate being patchy. not to mention i sometimes forget to put the lotion on my hands prior to tanning and i get spots that make my hands look dirty. its aggravating.

honestly, the new self tanner by lindsay lohan works GREAT. i have the lotion and the spray, and they both smell amazing (i normaly use jergins, but the smell is bad and i just cant take it anymore!

the lindsay lohan stuff is a bit sparkly when you put it on, and is tinted, then it gradually develops more of a tan. i loooove it.

Thanks, Daisy, I was wondering about LL's product, I see it advertised, & they have a little interview w/her about it in Allure.
I find I always have to buy a darker than I would need color product, even though I'm light.
There's a product on HSN I've been wanting to try: Tony Bratlin ST gel. It goes on w/a tint so you can see right away, the placement, if you've rubbed in, etc. It's $20.00 for an average sized tube, a little pricey.
The trouble is, I have several half-used cans etc. of other stuff laying around I need to use up first.

I just used the Tan Secret for the second time yesterday. It is amazing. There is no after smell and it goes on even. I followed the directions and used it at night. Just exfoliate before you use it. I used it on my face and it did not dry out my skin. Just take your time with it. It takes a while to dry. That is the only down side to the TS. I love it. Im reordering Monday.
