    Default Tribute Songs?

This has been one crazy week. I've always heard that celbrities go in 3s but never in a million years would I have guessed Michael Jackson would die so suddenly.

About a month or two ago, a co-worker danced only to MJ all night. I haven't bothered to work Thu nights anymore since its been so slow. But if you worked last night, did you or your club play a tribute to MJ? Do you plan on having MJ songs played this weekend? I have mixed feelings about it. I didn't request his songs when he was alive but I sometimes thought about using Dirty Diana. I don't know what I'll do when I go in tonight but I'm sure his untimely death will be the topic on everyone's mind.

They played MJ at my job on the day he died and I hated it. Some of the dancers were making jokes about it and I just wanted to sit in the dressing room and cry. Strip clubs are supposed to be fun, I don't want any sad distractions around me when I'm trying to work.

Yeah they played a bunch of MJ songs at my club on Friday towards the end of the night, I bet they'll play a bunch tonight too.

alot of girls danced to mj a my club on friday, but it was more happy and fun, lots of girls jumped up on the stage when one girl went on to Thriller and did silly zombie dancing.

i have always looked at the end of someones life as a time to celebrate(maybe its just my culture) and mj's life was all about his music and dancing!

I played the two I usually play anyway...Smooth Criminal and Thriller. I'm on a mission to re-learn Thriller. They have an awesome 40 part tutorial on YouTube.

One of the girls has played MJ all weekend. I actually thought it was sweet and appropriate.

I danced to MJ songs for a couple different sets throughout Friday and Saturday nights. I think there was only one other girl who was dancing to MJ too. One of my managers asked if it was my tribute to MJ. I guess it was, but whatever, I've always liked and danced to his music.

I was glad to see some girls playing MJ's songs during their sets on Friday. I played one of his songs too. There weren't nearly as many girls playing his songs on Sat. though.

Blaze_n_hot, I understand your sadness. But it was terribly inappropriate and tacky of those girls to make jokes about MJ.

I did a MJ tribute set last night; it was my first night working since he passed. It was a set I've already used, though. Scream/Dirty Diana. I dance to Janet frequently, so it wasn't out of the norm. It was actually a lot of fun.

The club I'm at now played a load of MJ songs... always followed by a few jokes from the DJ.

Dirty Diana has always been a great song to dance to at the clubs! I think I've heard that song 100 times in the last few days.

I've always loved MJ's music and I was devistated to hear the news. I had tickets to see him in London!! Guess that's out...

I love dancing to an unauthorised Butterflies Remix ft. Eva I found on the internet, it's totally badass. Apart from the MJ staples, there's also She Drives Me Wild, In The Closet, and my favorite... Give in to Me.
