    Default getting started

I am 19 and have never been a stripper before. I really have been considering it and am very interested. I know a girl who also is a stripper in dallas and loves it. I just need some advice on the best way to get this whole thing started since I really don't have much experience!

First of all, set aside a good chunk of time and read as much as you can on SW. There's a wealth of information here. Especially pay attention to the "newbie" threads pasted at the top of the forums. Research clubs in your area in the "clubs and reviews" section.

Then, go to a few of them as a customer, to get a feel for things. If the dancers are friendly, you may tip them for their time while they explain things to you. Then, when you find a club you like, audition, get hired, start making money.

    Good luck!

Scope out a few clubs before hand to see if you like them to. Also a very good thing to do is to look for all the amatuer contests that are taking place. Those will give some good experience, both to see if you can do it and how the crowds react to you.

I think there is a thread on here too about what to bring in your dancer's bag.
