I know that a lot of us are looking to lose weight. I read some threads a few months ago to see what works and what doesn't. After much research on the boards here, I decided to try CLA (Tonalin). I have been using it for two months and have lost 10 pounds. My big problem was fat in my belly area. The CLA has taken care of this. My pants and shorts are now falling off. I need to go shopping for smaller clothes soon! I have about 10 more pounds to lose. I am a size 6 but my goal is a size 4.
I combine the CLA with a good diet and moderate exercise. It really is not that hard to follow.
My Diet
Breakfast- Kashi Go Lean with Berries and Rice Milk (I have dairy issues.)
Snack- Apple with Peanut Butter or small handful of Trail Mix
Lunch- Healthy Choice Naturals Entree (These are really yummy!)
Snack- Banana with Peanut Butter or small handful of Trail Mix
Dinner- Salad with Grilled Chicken, Grilled Chicken with Pasta, Grilled Chicken with Steamed Veggies, or Fish with Steamed Veggies
Additional Things
I only drink water and green tea. Drink 3 liters of water and 2 cups of tea.
I exercise 5 times a week for 45 minutes each time. I power walk or dance.
I take 4 capsules of the Trader Joe's Brand of CLA (1000 MG in each pill).
I take 4 capsules of the Trader Joe's Milk Thistle.
I take 4 capsules of Irwin's Naturals Caffeine Free Engery.
I allow myself to "cheat" on the weekends. I can only indulge in my guilty pleasures like dessert, burgers, fries, pizza, potato chips, tortilla chips, etc. on the weekends. This helps keep me sane and on my diet. It's not like I eat a whole cake or anything. It's having a small cupcake, or a cookie, or a small order of McDonalds fries, or a small slice of pizza, etc. Keep the portions small and you'll be okay.
