Default Impulse Vegas Trip...where to dance? Help!

I'm not great at searches, but I did read about needing a sheriff's card and business license...and read a bit about some of the clubs here. I'm in a hotel tonight but really have NO idea what I'm doing after that! lol

I normally dance off and on in Portland, at the Viewpoint, but was told that dancing in Vegas is A LOT different. I plan on being here for a couple of weeks, so I could use as much help as possible from you all in figuring out the best places to stay, transportation, ect.

Like I said, this was impulse. Not sure if I put this in the right section either! Thanks everyone!

As far as working, not many places are hiring aside from day shift and morning shift. A lot of travelers i know stay at places like Siegal Suites because you pay weekly instead of nightly. Dancing here IS completely different. When I moved here I had been dancing six years and it still took me a good six months to get the hustle down pat.

If you go to a club to audition, they'll give you all the details about the business license and sheriffs card. Since it's your first time there... I'd suggest someplace a bit low key. Like Treasures maybe. (Very nice place... sorta like a miniature Scores) Scores staff used to be very friendly. I worked @ the Rhino, and it's sink or swim there. -Definitely not my recommendation, considering you're a newcomer. The experience could be brutal. Sapphire is like an NBA gymnasium (size-wise), (no exaggeration), and the staff only made the atmosphere even more overwhelming.
Do not go to Cheetahs. -At least, that's what I've heard.
I really hope that helps Good luck sweetheart! And be careful
