    Default Skin Lightning Cream

Hi everyone, I'm been MIA lately since I haven't been able to dance due to being pregnant and I miss it so much! Anyway I have a question hopefully someone can help me out with. I've developed the mask of pregnancy on my upper lip and its really bad. I look like I have a mustache, its so embarrassing. I have tried all kinds of different makeup and nothing will cover it up. I read online that there are skin lightning creams available to try, but before I spend a bunch of money that I really don't have right now on different ones, I was hoping someone could recommend a cream they have used that worked for them

    Thanks!
    Alexis

    Hi there Alexis

You want some heavy duty skin lighting cream..and NOT that $3 gunk at Sally's Beauty Supply House.

Then Try this, This is what I use...(and i'm into some salon grade heavy duty stuff)

    4% Hyrdroquinone

I'm telling you right now...This is a HEAVY duty PERSCRIPTION cream, but that doesnt mean you cant get it WITHOUT a Rx..LOL I mean come on...its 2009..lol

Anywho...here is a wiki page on Hydroquinone for YOUR researxh benefit.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydroquinone

Your body & beauty that goes along with it , is a science. It is IMPERATIVE that you know this stuff.

I get my Rx 4% Hydroquinone from here this location:

    http://www.canadamedicineshop.com/in...uct_id/108.htm

Why becuase in the U.S. Hydroquinone is considerd PERSCRIPTION..Y I have no idea...But in CANADA..it is NOT CONSIDERD PERSCRIPTION...Y becuase Canada is kool like that...I swear..I am THIS close to packin my shit up and movin to Canada. You can prolly scout around and find some cheaper prices..but i have always orderd from them and i know they are legit...so i just stick with'em.

Dont worry about the name brand...Just get the Generic..Same thing. I get the generic

Careful.....if you have expensive sheets & pillowcases...cuz when you sleep, this shit will rub off and turn them white...lol

And when you get it.....Just put it in the refridgerator along with your Retin - A and Benzoyl Peroxide 10%.

And if you dont wanna go with the Hydroquinone, I would suggest you try:

Vaniqa , The ONLY FDA approve hair retardent cream for women, I use this too. And lemme tell ya..this stuff works!

    http://www.vaniqa.com/

If you choose to go that route..just google for it and you can find some places to buy...

    It is Rx as well.

I hope this helps Ms. 81

Man when I went home in February (Philippines) there were billboards everywhere for creams and pills that make your skin whiter. I don't know that the FDA approves that stuff here, though.

Hey, thanks for all that info! Definitely sounds intriguing esp since you make it sound so good! You should get into advertising or something haha. I've heard some bad things about Hydroquine though...And how it's banned in Africa and Europe. That's the part that scares me. I don't really trust its safety and long-term effects.

One question though: how do you incorporate this into your beauty regime? Do you use it on your face or all over your whole body? Do you use it before or after the application of other products? Sorry for so many questions! xox

Thank you so much! I'm going to see my PCP next week and see if she will write a script before I order from that website but if she doesn't I will definatly go there. My OB said topical creams are fine to use but you know how some doctors get about giving pregnant women anything.

    Hehehehe...

Thanks luv....I just want nothing but the BEST for my stripper web girls! So I try to help in ANY way I can

    To answer your question...

I use 4% Hydroquinone in my regime like this....

The MAIN beauty ingredients I use in my beauty regimen are: 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (Wal-mart) Salicylic Acid ( Orange Stuff, Wal-mart) 0.05% Retin - A (inhouse pharmacy) & 4% Hydroquinone. (Canada pharmacy) I use these because of my ON - GOING struggle with acne...( I hate acne! )

And WITCH HAZEL...VERY VERY VERY important! ALL of these topical solutions have contridictions with Salicylic Acid..That is why you CANNOT use Sali acid with any of these things. You have to go in order. Normal face wash using sali acid in the shower or WHATEVER...then you must REMOVE all traces of sali acid with a cotton round soaked in WITCH HAZEL.

I designate specific days for each component.

Its like a formula...As i said before.....Your body is a science..and you MUST know it. I perform my NORMAL facial cleansing method for my face, using Salicylic acid whist in the shower or whatever, followed by WITCH HAZEL with a cotton round ...and then just plug in the corresponding topical application for that day. i.e

    Mon - Benzy
    Tue- Retin - A
    Wed- Benzy
    Thr- Hydro - Q
    Fri- Retin - A
    Sat- Retin - A
    Sun- Hydro - Q

Benzy Peroxide - AFTER you wait 30 mins..( thats the magic number) and apply it...it CANNOT be used with any other TOPICAL application. i.e You CANNOT place anthing on top of the benzy once its applied. NO MOISTURIZORS....NO OTHER ACNE MEDS....NOTHING...Apply BENZY ONLY! This is becuase of the extremely weak chemical make up of its structure.
THAT is why you must also be careful with benzy...becuase it is so potent...It has the potential to turn the hair it touches white. And it also has the ability to turn the pillow or anything else for that matter white...So just be careful when you are applying it. Works hella good!

Retin - A Wait 30 mins after face wash, then apply...because Retin-A has a stronger chemical makeup...YOU MAY apply moisturizor AFTER 30 mins have past or until dry. I wouldnt advise trying to apply more than ONE topical applcation per session. Retin - a will not turn hair white, or stain pillows and it works wonders!

HYDROQUINONE After face wash...Wait 30 mins....Apply Hydro-Q. Now Just like benzy...Hydro - Q has a rather weak chemical make up. Which means..YOU CANNOT apply moisturizor once Hydro-Q has been applied. Like Benzy. once applied, That is the only thing you can you can put on your face and wear to bed at night. It does not turn pillows white and make your hair turn funny colors..This stuff does wonders. I PRIMARLY use Hydro - Q on my face BECAUSE I have bad acne and ALWAYS have dark spots left over from old acne marks. (I hate that) plus i use it too around the mouth to get rid of that dark ring that makes you look like you have a moustache...lol I ALSO rarely use it on my body if i have a mark or two here or there from a cut or whatever..but rarely...sometimes on the chest area, to get rid of dark spots from chest-ne..lol

Salicylic Acid The orange stuff from nuetragena or generic brand..GREAT stuff. if ya have acne or whatever. It deep cleans and is almost like a REALLY light chemical peel. I live off this stuff. It is the PRE-CURSOR to all topical applications. Like I say..Just remember to remove with witch hazel BEFORE any topical applications. (Even use witch hazel right before you use nair! it exfoliates and makes the hair removal more effective)

Sorry to sound like a scientist...but its just what I know...And I find its good to De-Brief somewhere and get all this crap outta my head..lol

I hope I answerd your question Pink Star.....if not...I'll try till I get it Right!!! And please....NEVER be sorry for asking questions. Its the only way you will ever learn!

I use this stuff from palmers called eventone fadecream on my bad acne scars and it works pretty good. its got 2% hydroquinone, sunscreen, alpha hydroxy, and vitamins c and e in it. oh and im 7 months pregnant so its safe to use. Good thing is that mask of pregnancy youre talkin about goes away pretty quick after birth, my friend had it real bad around her eyes like a raccoon, but she looks fine now.

Hmmmm...If anything Sorsi....If you use the 4% Hydro - Q. your freckles will lighten GREATLY. And I guess you could use to a point of getting them virtually none exsistant.

how often should I use this? Also, is it one of those things where as soon as you stop using it, the freckles go dark again?

Right now I'm using a kojic acid serum, which is working fairly well (and I like that it's all natural; I'm kind of wary of putting chemicals on my face). But I might give the hydroquinone a try anyway, just to see if it works any better or faster.

Hydro - Q can be used for as long as it takes, for you to achieve what YOU think, is the desired result. i.e the extreme lightening of the freckles.

The main objective of Hydro - Q is to REVERSE the effects of the melanin in the skin. i.e SKIN LIGHTNING. Once the Melanin has been effectively lightned and controlled. That particular skin tone that you achieve, will stay for as long as it does. Meaning, If you tan or whatever..you skin will take the tone it does when you tan...Or if you are out in the sun alot...You will obviously darken to the amount of time spent in the sun.

Which is why....It is EXTREMELY important that you use a SUPER great sunscreen for UVA, UVB, & UVC Rays. ( These are VERY HARMFUL ) Because when you lighten away your freckles or any other area for that matter with Hydro - Q or ANY facial topical treatment that exfoliates the skin like that, You strip away the skins natural defense barrier for repelling the suns HARMFUL rays. ( UVA, UVB, & UVC ) And believe you me, when you slack off on the suncreen AFTER you start your facial topical treatments. You will wind up VERY worst off than you were before.

Melanin Is as a Photoprotectant, Meaning It absorbs harmful UV-radiation and transforms the energy into harmless amounts of heat through a process called "UltraFast Internal Conversion". Basically meaning the UV rays you get hit with are MINIMALLY absorbed.

Freckle are clusters of concentrated melanin which are most often visible on people with a fair complexion. A freckle is also called an "ephelis."

When you strip the melanin away...You begin to lose that protection and increase your chances of getting some type of skin cancer. i.e melanoma. Which is why I recommend Nuetragena SPF 100+ FACIAL moisturizor. Thats right SPF 100+ ! NOT SPF 15, or 20 or 30 or 45 or 70..but SPF 100! I use this myself RELIGOUSLY. It is NON-COMODEGINIC, EXTREMELY Lightweight, & Oil - Free! Its $10.99 at Wal-Mart or Target..But WELL worth it...( Cuz we all know being pretty aint cheap ) And also becuase YOUR beauty & longevity of your life are just that crucial. You dont wana look 50 Years when you are only 26. So please Keep the sunscreen in mind. It is the ABSOLUTE best thing you could ever buy for yourself when it comes to your beauty & health regimen.

So no..Your results wont go away if you stop using.

I hope that answers your question Sorsi, If not....We'll see what we can do!

    Muawaz!
