probably not, because the name on the diploma would still have the respected university name.
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?
Thanks
What matters is not wheter the course is on-line or in a classroom, but if the school is accredited.
If you have any questions, you can try to call the schools registrar's office to confirm that the online credits qualify for their regular degree programs. You could also double check with another institution to ask if they accept the online degree credits from the institution in question.
Best of luck.

If I'm not mistaken, the University of Phoenix does not have a traditional college campus anyhow. I remember seeing/hearing that when they 'hosted" the Super Bowl a few years back in their stadium. I believe they have a bunch of satellite offices throughout the country facilitating their online degree programs.

I go to Empire State College in NY. It's a SUNY school, and it has regular classes at campuses all over the state...but it's really known for the Center of Distance Learning. I only take online classes from the school, and it's very reputable.

Thank you, good idea I will call a local university and ask!
I am a university of phenoix student i like it and feel i am getting a good education

This is the advice I recieved on the subject when I was considering how to go back to school recently. But I also heard employers tend to favor brick-and-mortar schools' degrees (online or not) before an online-only school. So I'd opt for a "real" school's online courses before a U Phoenix type. I think that's because the online college thing just recently starting booming and is so new.

One of my former employers never hired people from U of Phoenix because he thought it was a diploma mill. I've actually seen jobs ads stating they won't hire from a strictly online school. However an online college from an accredited college is accepted the same because how would they know whether you attended online or not? I went to a brick and mortar grad school, yet took several classes online. One of my classmates got his BA there without having taken any classes at the school.
Thanks you guys, yes the school I am considering has athletic teams and everything It is a private university founded by some nuns I believeooops But I think it is really good Ashford University, they have a traditional campus
I would check accreditation and the school's reputation. Obviously the reputation is going to be subjective, but even googling it and seeing what kind of posts show up can be helpful.
If it's legitimately accredited and the rep appears good, you are probably good to go. Per Audrey's response, if you have resources that can give you insight into how hiring managers would view a particular school, that is beneficial.
Good luck!
