At least a few times a week a customer will give me a compliment and then mention (often multiple times) that I "already know that". For example:
As I'm dancing for the customer he says "You're so hot" and then "but you already know that, don't know?" or "but you hear that all the time, right?" and then sometimes won't drop it and will repeat "don't you?" or "right?". Worse yet they start pleading a case by saying stuff like "you totally do!"...
I never know WTF I'm supposed to say to that. Isn't it a retorical question? I always just kind of laugh/smile and say "thank you" or "you're too sweet", but it's like they need to hear me answer them. Sometimes they will even question why I laughed. I always just explain that compliments make me nervous/blush.
You guys get this a lot? What the hell is it they WANT to hear?
