Default How hard is it to be hired?

I've always thought that it's just to go inside, ask for a job and then you're hired but it seems a lot harder than that judging from the threads here.
Guess it depends on the city and the club and the recession has probably affected SCs, but really, is it that hard?
I've lurked around here and seen girls who are smokin' who's been rejected and IRL I see all these skanky (sorry, but it's true), no-talent, saggy strippers. Is getting hired just a matter of luck?

with the recession, i think clubs are even being more lenient on their hiring process. atleast mine is. they figure, the club isn't making as much money, lets hire everyone and raise everyone's house fee!

but yeah. as long as you're not too overweight, and semi attractive, you're hired

Depends on the club and the manager and the day and time you go in and what happened that day and the week before...

Yeah I just went through a couple issues with getting hired & I still don't have a club yet to work out. It's gettin old......BUT ANYWAYS...if you have the look, the personaly, & u show up are the right time of day, manager in good mood.....good chance your hired.

I feel its alot to do with timing it correctly. Like if you know the manager leaves at 4 , dont come in a 330 wanting to audition, he prob will you kick you right back outta there.

Just get a list together of clubs together & go to each one until u r hired at one of them.

    just my thoughts tho...............good luck

Yay, sounds promising! I've just danced at a couple of private parties and I've always done really good so I'm confident that I at least am a decent dancer. Just gotta decide which city to work in, oh freedom!

As others have said, it depends on a million factors. How high the club's standards are, how hot you are, your personality, the time of day when you catch your hiring manager, what he had to eat last night, etc...
