Thumbs up Working at 2 clubs at once....?.....

Ok, I have a question to all you girls who dance at 2 or more clubs every month....

How do u do it? I mean do the clubs not care I'm assuming that you are between both of them.

And how do you balance them. Do you go to Club 1 one week, then Club 2 the second week...???....

I'm considering getting a couple to switch around through the month, but maybe being newer I should stay put with one club for awhile first.

Are there any real benefits of juggling clubs every month or is it better to just stay in one club & work there? (for new dancer vs experienced dancer)

    Thx
    XoXo

You want to create consistency and comfortability for your customers. Working the same shifts at the same club will help you build up clientele and build relationships with your support staff so that they will help you out. (credit to dancerwealth)

However if you want to work at two I would say try and split your time evenly and work the same nights at each club every week. I see girls club-hopping every other night or so and some make $ but others complain they're making nothing (who really knows though). I think this works and also doesn't. You won't build up regulars if you're never working in the same place-- while I wouldn't say I have any regulars I have customes who've come in a few times and they are always the good tippers and usually help sell my dances to their friends. But there are girls at my club who have been dancing for years and say they have never had regulars because they're just a hassle, and I see them making $$$ every night.

Being the new girl works to your benefit with some customers and not with others. It definitly doesn't with support staff and managers-- if its a large club they just won't remember you, if its a smaller club they won't help you out becuse they'll know the other girls really well and what they tip. I prefer working at one place but I'm also the kind of person who likes stability and the same schedule every day (god I am in the wrong business).

i just started working multiple clubs so far i like it. they are in the same company so no one has a problem as long as i work 1 night a week. my contract also states that its not a problem even if i work a club outside of the company.
i have a wider variety of clientele and an advantage of learning different "hustle" techniques because of how both clubs differ from each other.
it also seems to me that i make more money on the weekends at one better than the other and visa versa.

Definitely helps prevent burn-out. But I agree with keeping a regular weekly schedule at both clubs.

Do most clubs care that you work at more than one club?
That depends. Are these clubs rivals? Is that policy? How far apart are these clubs?
I worked at a club in St. louis while working at a club 30 minutes away in another state. No one could care less.

If you can't keep your shifts the same post when and where your working online. Or get a skype number that you never answer and when people call your message can say:
Hi guys I'll be at the Kit Kat club from blank to blank and I'll be at the Ding Dong club from blank to blank.

I live in St. louis but work 2 hours away in the summer. I have a myspace page just for regulars to view. With pictures of me from the back. That could be anybody's ass.

I'd recommend working at least once per week at each club if you do this or just staying at one club. My dancer money was just average. Part of the reason is that I was traveling around and not able to accomodate customers who wanted to stay in touch and come back and see me. I KNOW I could have made more consistent money if I would have been better at keeping in touch and working at ONE place on a regular basis. That's just my experience though - it may be different for your area.

I think for now I'll just do one club & get some experience. Then I do want to add another or few clubs, maybe even travel around to diff clubs. Sounds like so much fun!

Thanks for all your input Makes alot of sense.

I work at one club that I consider my "main" club, and work at another one in a different state once or twice a month to avoid boredom. My main club doesn't care so long as I work on days that they need dancers, and I get to have fun in a pole club once in a while, to get it out of my system

I've danced at multiple clubs at the same time. I worked different nights of the week at each different club. The clubs were all very different, so my customers liked the variety. I think it's only a problem in a few cities were there are very defined clubs that are competitors.
