Angry How about I dance for you

I'm sick of customers that say stupid things like how about you pay me and I dance for you.... You are not a stripper so don't try it. It's annoying & I don't know how to get around it so they end up buying a dance from me. Any suggestions? The other thing that annoys me is when they say I'm just here to look& won't spend anything at all, not even on a drink. What gives them he right to sit there staring at us dancing and not even pay us for it. I'm sure they don't like going to work for free. I just don't know how to get around it?

Well.. In total sadness I have gone to a strip clubs just to watch.. I will go up to the stage if I'm interested but I will not agree to a dance.. But I do this to learn why others don't also. I found that sometimes the dancers push too hard or do that look around thing when their talking to you. And there are just dicks that are cheap, there is a way to trick them into it but I'm still working on it. Maybe others can give tips and we can crack the case.

Ive been annoyed with the same thing for years and unfortunately there is no way around it. The best thing you can do is stay away from this type and move on because honestly its not worth it to listen to their bullshit.

You can ask them those very questions, but truthfully it's not worth it. Moving on is simpler.

At my club though if they're not spending anything (not on drinks or dances) they're out.

BTW, Wild_Flower your avatar is adorabley awesome.

First, if they aren't spending any money you need to let a manager or bouncer know - because they will be escorted out.

Second, you just need to have a sense of humor about them offering you dances. You can say things like "Well, I charge $10 per song to give you feedback" or "If I say I'm impressed it's only because I really want to dance for you". Just be cute and put a spin on it. If they don't go for it then move on.

^^^ I just prefer to take the opportunity to still make money. Some customers will make a complete change when they see you have a sense of humor.

i hate that too!! what works for me is "oh you want to dance for me? can i borrow a couple dollars so i can tip you?" that makes them laugh and move away from the subject. i wonder if they think i'm just going to take the money and run?

I friking hate those assholes!!! That's probably the thing that pisses me off the most. !!!

When I was new I had way more patience and would play along, and laugh, thinking they were just giving me a hard time because they thought it was funny. But most of the guys who try to pull these jokes are usually broke and in my opinion, they're just trying to sound "cool" so you might want to hang out with them for free for a while.

this is my response: "If I'm ever in your shoes, you know...the I-have-to-pay-for-attention-from-the-opossite-sex-situation, you'll be the first one I'll call" or "A dance sounds super! but lets leave it for when I'm the loser hanging out at your club, ok"

they always give me the evil look but seriously, I have no patience for them. and blowing them off in a super bitchy way puts me in a good mood.

I get these guys every once and a while and I spend maybe 10 more seconds selling a dance and just walk away.

Somtimes guys bring this up and I'll respond with "I don't think I could afford you... you're probably pretty expensive right? (n the thousands?" this gets a laugh and if they are going to spend money they'll let it go and either buy a dance or move on to a different part of conversation. But if they keep it up they aren't going to spend money, they're just trying to reel you into some dumb joking exchange that will keep you there a few minutes longer for free.

I get guys joking around all the time about me buying the drinks. Stuff like:

"Next round is on you, right?!"

or the drinks come to the table...."OK, pay the waitress!"

or a guy will see the money strapped to my ankle and go "Whoah, looks like you should buy me a drink!"

Followed by of course, the "I'm such a funny guy" laugh at themselves.

Now, what's sad is I have been getting these same stupid lines lately but guys have started to mean it.
Some a-hole got actually pissed at me the other night cause he was serious, and I just couldn't believe my ears. He saw about $30 in one's and five's on my ankle and was convinced that I was Mrs. Moneybags that should be treating him.

Time wasters. There really is nothing you can do but remove yourself from the situation. I wish there was some sort of signal to see it coming, but there's not. Some of the nicest custies have all of a sudden busted shit like this out.

I would say nothing and walk away. There's really no reasoning with these lame fucks and they certainly don't deserve your attention. Because attention is all those types of guys want....along with the "what are you gonna do for this dollar" losers.

I know it just makes me angry that there are so many of these losers in the club at the moment & it's already hard to make any money as it is. I'm just having a rant that's all. I like your answer though innocense although u should prob still try get money out of them especially when those people are most people at the club at the moment ... Now that I've had my rant I feel much better.

I say "ok!, after I dance for you first!" while grabbing their hand back to the lapdance area. By the time i'm done they forgot all about it.

People don't tip here because the smallest note is a $5 and that is too much for them to give us.

I don't give anyone my time that doesn't spend any money on me - if you're not a lap dance kind of guy that's fine but I make it pretty clear to them in a subtle way that I'm at WORK.

So if any of the girls at my club sees me sitting with a customer for a long period of time - it will be because he's feeding me $20's to be there.

I've had customers say "How about I dance for you" I'm like "YEAH! I got ONE WHOLE DOLLAR FOR YOU BABY - UGH! thats 4 whole quaters! Don't worry.. you're worth it!" and they usually laugh and get it and I'll make money off them for lightening up the mood.

In australia tipping is not the normal thing so people aren't used to doing it. Although we don't have to tip anyone out eiher so maybe it all works out. I don't know. It does annoy me when they sit there all night & don't spend but are willing to stand behind someone elce who is getting a table dance to get a free look.

I tell em I can't afford to buy a dance from them. Last night a guy actually kept wanting to give me a free dance...wtf...he ended up buying a dance later that night though so he was just being silly
Usually though, these guys are time wasters so you should just walk away.
As for the assholes who come in just to look, remind them that you have to pay to come into work and that you are PAYING for them to watch you. Try to make them feel as guilty as possible so they don't come back :-)
